Labour Party set for a landslide win in the UK general election

People in the UK are voting in the general election that could see the Conservative Party's 14-year reign end. Multiple polls suggest the Conservatives could face a wipe-out with the opposition Labour Party on course for a potential landslide win. NBC News' Raf Sanchez reports on how this could be a "change election."

Honestly Labour is going to regret that approach of taking a massive center approach and ignoring the leftwing while forcing the Tories to the right because people like Nigel Farage are going to become more mainstream and you’re not going to be different from the United States in 10 years because even as of right now you’re not infinitely better. Lol. I lived in England for a couple years and now live in Midwest of the US. Google says your hottest day was a, and I quote - a “scorching” 30.3 Celsius (86.5F). Google says where I live the average was 85. Two weeks ago we had a 102. So if your days are more than unusually sunny, what the heck are mine? Angrily sunny?

My 87 year old grandfather was born in england to a english native dad and a danish immigrant mom.He moved to Denmark in 1963 and has lived there ever since.He was raised as a conservative and supported the conservative parties in the UK and in Denmark up until the mid 1970's and has been a centre leftist ever since.He has been a happy camper knowing that the UK and Denmark smacked the conservatives around in both nations most recent elections

And the amazing part is that The UK actually requires ID to vote. And they only allow Mail-In-Voting if you are outside of the country at election time. Strange concept, you have to wonder how that would work in The U.S.

it's a new policy brought in for this general election...it was brought in by the (right wing) conservative party effectively as voter suppression - ie to make it harder for some marginalised individuals to vote (as they are unlikely to vote conservative).

Not true about mail ins, anyone can do them. There are certain restrictions on voting by proxy though, i.e. on someone else's behalf when it's pre-arranged. I believe you can only vote on behalf of two people at maximum, or up to 4 if those people are out of the country.
