I'm gutted to hear next weeks episode is the FINALE, the deputy commisioner issue just got juicy. This is the shortest season, season 9 had 16 episodes. I know it normally ends in may, but with the writers stikes, i thought it would end in july this season.

Poor 1990 Spartan Gladiator Truck 81 got being destroyed and got exploded since it first appeared in Season 8 Episode 13 A Chicago Welcome but in the Season 12 Finale they got the sneak peek of the new design and livery for the CFD but still the same model

That isn’t truck 81, if you look carefully at truck 81 and look at the wreckage of the fire truck, they’re two different trucks.

Its a different truck used as prop indeed look at the front it has a blue flasher the spartan dit only had red lights also if i saw it correctly the brand of the truck and the make arent the same, 2nd look at the lader thats lying in 2 pieces.... its a different ladder than the spartan has the spartan has a fully white ladder and the ladder thats into 2 pieces on the ground is a grey/metalic ladder with a red small extension like the trucks used in the early 90s 2000s

They probably gonna do some work on the spartan like maybe mounting a differen ladder from a scrap truck, other lights, other decals, and different flashers so it looks like a new truck but due to low funds i highly doubt there will be a new truck also if you look at the spartan you can see it its way bigger that the explosion showed severide did set fire to the dashboard and there were probably 2 or 3 small bombs in the backseat so with an explosion like that the cab would be severely damaged beyond recognision but the back would have been intact also that cab prob was way to intact for that explosion it would have been a truck without a cab because the explosion would have schredded the cab... not to mention that the criminal and severide would both be dead or heavily wounded from flying debris

They aren’t gonna destroy a perfectly good fire truck irl. The show doesn’t have the budget to buy a perfectly functional fire truck from the CFD and destroy it. The wrecked truck is either a dedicated prop or a really old retired truck that they could destroy

If im correct they did use in total 4 ladder trucks In the season 3 they used 3... The normal first rig that was there in season 1 till 8 The firetruck crash in 3 was done with 2 trucks the crash itself was an old 1978-82 seagrave as seen really quick in the shot the 2nd stand in was a crappy spare standin for i think 3 episodes after the crash (dawson was pranked on that 1) i believe The old rig from season 1 till 8 returned after that till season 8 when they got the spartan gladiator

One of the thieves said in an earlier scene "that first responders can go anywhere so it was like having an all access pass" when Kelly questioned why they stole not only truck 81 but an ambulance from another firehouse.

First of all, when they get another truck 81 I hope they actually use a Chicago FD rig not a used out of town rig.CFD has plenty of spare trucks on reserve status.also I'm not happy that everyone is leaving the show, now Chief Boden ? That's to much to handle.

lol wth who seriously writes this stuff I mean how often do you hear firefighters being taken hostage especially in their own oversized slow trucks & how often do you hear a firefighter setting their own rig on fire or crashing it. THat's hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of equipment that can't just easily be replaced like say their own personal car. What a load.... & the cheeziness. What do overly emotion no firefighter I know has ever be so insecure & overly emotion as Severide & whatever her name is.

If you look behind the scenes you can see that was not Truck 81 that was a replica of Indianapolis fire department of ladder 38 and they put Chicago fire markings on it the Chicago fire department markings are fake nothing happened to 81

I suppose each year that goes by and the older you get you change and look older also 😮 In case you don't realize that season 3 was around 9 years ago. So after 9 years I'm sure everyone changes and looks Older. But as far as I'm concerned SEVERIDE STILL LOOKS DAMM GOOD FOR HIS AGE❤❤❤❤❤ he definitely looks better now on season 12 then he did back on season 11 before he left.
