Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews played in his 1,000th game on Thursday, March 31 in Flordia. On Sunday, the Blackhawks honored Toews pregame with a tribute video. Marian Hossa, Brent Seabrook, Patrick Sharp and Andrew Shaw made surprise appearances to present Toews with his silver stick.

That line up made me feel old Seabrook and hossa and now Kane and toews are at 1000 games each 07-08 season for me is like yesterday I was 16 and the ducks won the Stanley cup that year damn time flies

i loved seeing all the old boys back together once more. the filthy goal against the avs, was johnny's "announce my presence with authority" moment.

The Avs announcer said after he scored that goal "That's the kind of player that can bring a franchise back from the dead". I don't think he knew how prophetic that statement was.

Saw him electrify at Shattuck St Mary's prep school in Faribault when he was just a young pup. Congratulations Jonathan! You represented the Hawks well with grace and class and Three Stanley Cups!

Say what you want about Stan Bowman, but he tried to retool so these guys could have another chance to compete this year. It obviously didn’t work out, as it hasn’t for the last several seasons. Now the franchise is in a hole- crappy record, no first round pick, and a limited number of promising prospects in the system. Who knows what the roster will look like next year, but chances are, the team will be even worse.

his first several years were obviously pretty good i mean the 2010 run ofc was mostly tallons work but bowman was the primary architect of building and constructing the 2013 and 2015 runs. Ofc his final years after that 2017 first round sweep was sketchy though

He deserves better than the entitled pretty boys they got playing with him now. This organization was the best in hockey now it’s a mess. They should trade him to a contended if he wants out. I’m sure they can get someone who is less competitive and prettier.
