I go and find out whether the Far Cry 6 game is not only worth playing, but whether it's worth getting 100% & the Platinum.
With a low Metacritic score Far Cry 6 didn't do as well as the series normally does and with that I was out there ready to give it an objective go!
I can honestly say, I loved it, I really love this game. Not only did the Story, dialogue and general vibe of the game gel with me but the choice of cast with Giancarlo Esposito getting on board with Ubisoft for this one.
The game has a very steady Trophy list with only 4 or 5 getting in the way of smooth sailing. One of which is recognized in Step 4 of the journey. This Trophy took 3 weeks to achieve due to the fact it's a weekly reset that needed 3 completions.
I would highly recommend not only playing through Far Cry 6's impressive and captivating story but to go for the Platinum yourself!
Cannot wait for Far Cry 7 now!

From my pov Farcry 6 was a great game! The small things really added up from Dani singing livin la vida loca to painting a horse and calling it a zebra it was amazing! The ending was beyond unsatisfying though. no one really wins but it’s still enjoyable up until “The dinner” 😩😩

I really enjoyed the whole game. I can understand some peoples dislike in certain things. But overall the game gets a bad wrap. I actually enjoyed the ending. Thought it was a great ending, no cliffhanger. A villian who in his head still won by ending not only his life but his family's on his terms. Thanks for the great comment

Yes! Finally someone on KZfaq that actually likes this game lol. I also got the plat for this a while ago, bought the game a day after release because I thought “why not?” Never expected to have as much fun with this game as I did. My plat journey was absolutely awesome as hell, it’s just a fun and enjoyable plat overall, I love it. It’s also very nice to see that Ubisoft clearly cared about this game. The new mission updates even way after release and the Stranger Things collab! And the variety of weapons, vehicles, characters, graphics, setting and fun gameplay really makes it look like they truly put some care into it. Also I respect you for at least trying to pronounce the many Spanish words, cities etc. right lol. Many people are just ignorant and completely butcher it

What's funny is that you can completely skip the benitez boss fight with the Supremo and gun you get by collecting all three idols do the first challenge room and then she appears behind bulletproof glass and you can just use your ability to shoot through walls and kill her and skip the entire fight to get to her

Funny thing is, you get 100% by just completing the story and having done a bit of side stuff here and there. But basically by just playing the story. Not talking abpout Platinum, just "100%" progress. Usually don't go for that and I think it might be the only game that actually does this, but it sure was nice to have at least 1 game "100%ed".

I know this game has been out a while but here's a method to get to the supply drops a lot easier. 1st: take out all AA guns in the area 2nd: get the Resolver helicopter aka that copter bike 3rd: fly the copter bike to each supply drop starting point and start claiming each supply drop while making sure not to crash your ride

The thing you get at triade blessing and you can get it pretty early on I forget what upgrade you can get to fast travel to camps you haven't been to but if you start this quest early use that upgrade you can get it. The reason it's broken is the weapon you get one shots pretty much everything but then if you add the resolver to it highlights all enemies in an area and the gun I spoke of before now can shoot through all terrain "yes I mean all terrain" on top of killing everything so you can clear FND bases and anti air places with no sweat

I like this game mainly because your slide actually sort of a momentum kind of thing. So if you slide down a hill, you'll actually slide down that hill until you either hit a tree or reach the bottom, which you'll keep going for a little bit longer.

Bought this game on sale during some time off. This is a great farcry game. Dont know why it gets bad reviews when there really isnt another game quite like it. Especially as I have gotten older and moved to single player games instead of online. This game gives you that satisfying "I have some time to play a game" experience that you can return to every time you have that time.

I think the reason that it got bad reviews is just because Ubisoft wasn’t really innovating enough. Like the game itself on its own isn’t bad but when you think that this is 6th mainline entry and it’s still doing mostly the same stuff since 3, then there’s the problem.

Yeah the gameplay does have some silly parts for sure, as do the side missions. The only serious part is the story so if you break it into different sections and know this I personally don't see any issues with it. Can understand your point though as I've done it with games in the past. 😀

I recently started on my journey to 100% the game (DLC included) and it's been a mission, since in addition to the trophies for the platinum, I had to complete all 5 Special Operations on Mastery 3 difficulty (where the PG-240X is more volatile, with enemies that can take multiple head shots even with armour-piercing rounds, more flamethrower guys (who I hate with a passion even not on the Spec Ops missions), and a higher level of elite soldiers), as well as complete the three "Inside the Mind" DLCs on Mind Level 5 (not as difficult as Mastery 3, but still a challenge). All I need to do is get the third Insurgent leader in a couple days and finish off the Lost Between Worlds DLC and I'm done.

@@NC-Project Hell yeah, it was a big task. It's absolutely horrible having to do a mission designed for co-op solo... especially on the hardest difficulty. Thankfully, I only failed a special ops mission once (Maceo on Mastery 3 got me), and the rest I was able to get done with a couple lives to spare. I became a master of the headshot & loadout swap by the end 🤣😭. Thankfully, as of a couple hours ago, I am now sitting at 98/100 trophies, with only the platinum and Insurgency trophy remaining. I'll have the platinum done by tomorrow (15 hours from now), and then I can move on to either the most recent Doom games or Titanfall 2.

The reason i love far cry 6 is thr moments you can laugh about especially the npcs and animals stupidity XD even if you out guerilla mode and guerilla+ its even more funny (but also stressing if you have tanks + 2 choppers against you while you try eacape when having no ammo left) either way i made alot of moments out of it so i dont know why the game has alot of critics often than good. But it cant be undone. I enjoy and thats whats needed for me :)

I haven’t played this game myself so maybe I’m way off base here but it looks like every other far cry game since 3. I love 3, liked 4, thought 5 was okay but too long and the games just seem to keep getting bigger while not innovating enough. For some people that’s good enough like eating McDonalds, not good food but familiar so you keep going back to it.

Story wise it's one of the biggest let downs for where far cry 5 had epic bosses and actual fight I felt that something was missing greatly a couple infiltrations or get captured or some actual story and not just kill bosses you saw 2 times
