Hi Rakesh, thanks for watching my channel. No english proficiency exams required to endorse your RN license to North Carolina. English profiency exams is needed only for Visa Screen which is one of the requirement before US embassy Visa Interview. Her recruiter/case manager should guide her towards this process.

1. They normally accept Visa screen Certificate for this part/ CGFNS CES. 2. Yes. You need Certification of Good standing from the Board of nursing where you are currently practicing nursing. 3. License in Texas where you originally applied for NCLEX. Request verification thru NURSYS Portal. No need to ask verification of license from Nigeria and UK. 4. For NURSYS verification you will only verify your Texas license. 5. You can do it in UK. If you have any further clarification it is best to ask the NCBON directly, license endorsement requirements might have changed.

Hello 👋 technically NC doesn’t require IELTS, but they need CES (Credential Evaluation Service) from CGFNS or Visa Screen if you don’t have CES, and for you to get Visa Screen you will need IELTS.. Focus on passing your NCLEX exams muna , once you pass it you can start processing CES through CGFNS as requirement for your license endorsement.

Hi Mark, Im not familiar sa interface ng ncbon nurse gateway ngayon, they must have updated it, but based on your description since “issued” na and CES ni misis yes you can upload the supporting docs na issued na and CES niya sa may nursing educ verified area. When it comes to “current license” I believe this is the part where the regulatory board of nursing where she is currently practicing or yung latest state or country kung saan siya nagpractice should send direct verification of her good standing sa ncbon. To clarify any other concerns of course it is best to send an email query to ncbon themselves.. the above info I mentioned is just my analysis of your question. Thanks for supporting my channel . :)

Good question. License from your original state kung saan ka nagapply for nclex. If you applied Nclex-RN in Illinois , request verification from Illinois thru Nursys.

Hello mam, not requirement ang IELTS but they will ask you for Education credential evaluation where you graduated BSN, in my case Visa Screen cert is sufficient since credential evaluation is already included in visa screen. However, you will not be able to get Visa screen cert if you do not pass any english proficiency test.

Isa lang.

I believe this only applies to foreign educated nurses regardless of the original state where you have your nclexrn license.

@@nursekatchannel any idea if IEE is accepted as well? One of my colleague who is working currently in NC used it rather than CES report. It is way cheaper.

As of the moment, no need po ang IELTS sa endorsement.

Yung sa CBC thru courier pero yung PrC verification tumatanggap na ata sila if prc will send verification thru email, that’s what I read from some group page/chats.. but to make sure, you can ask the ncbon officers.

Hi, I actually cant remember the total amount, but roughly around 200-250usd including ncbon license endorsement payment, nursys license verification and fd card processing.

Absolutely 💯. That's the wisest thing to do .. just wait until retrogression is lifted then you can start processing your endorsement since you are still at dq stage.

Visa screen ka muna, masyadong maaga para magpaendorse ng license

1 . depends how long will you be able to complete all the required documents. 2. Yea CES report is needed but they accept Visa Screen, so go for Visa screen instead so it wont double your expenses. CES report cost 450 dollars now with CGFNS. 3.best time to start endorsement is when you are in DQ stage when you are just waiting for schedule of your visa interview.

And my Visascreen application is set for "Ready For Review" Will this CES Report work or i should wait for Visa Screen Certficate? 2. As currently i am not in America, I am from Nepal, So while applying Endorsement for NC the Primary Address of mine should be of my country, right? 3. And, where i have to send fingerprint hard copy? 4. How long will it take to get SSN number after reaching North Carolina?

@@rakeshshah9372 1. If you have your own copy of your CES then you can send that. But if not you may need to pay another processing fee for CGFNS to send your CES report to NC board of Nursing. So I suggest you wait for your visa screen. 2. YES you are right. 3. Someone from NC BON should give you instructions where to send the fingerprint card for Criminal background check. 4. Once you arrive to the US it normally take 2weeks for you to get your ssn, send the copy to ncbon and your endorsement should be completed. They provide temporary RN license too while waiting for your SSN if needed.

@@nursekatchannel Hi Kat，recently my friend encounter one problem. Hoping you can help him. His primary RN license sate is NY. He transfered his RN License to Texas. He only can tranfered his license to a Txeas' signle states license eventhough Texas is a multistates license states. Now he wants to change the signle states license to Multistates license in Texas. But Texas nursing borad needs his CES. He checked his Visascreen process. but he couldn't find any CES information on his account .so he can't send his CES to Texas nursing board. Do you know what he can do now to make this tranfer succeed?

Kung sa cgfns yan, meron yung iba di na naglalagay ksi sa haba ng process specially if di na sila base dun sa middle east. Pero kung license endorsement yan, I dont see anything wrong bakit di nyo ilagay.. usually yung Cert of good standing sa present country where you currently work at ang hinahanap nila

Hi John, I put my Philippines address before as my primary address, since I do not have an NC address yet when I started my license endorsement. Then entered my Qatar address as my mailing address for me to receive the FD cards for criminal background checks (since I am in Qatar that time). You can update your address in NC Nurse gateway later on once you already have an address here in NC.

So you received your NC license in Qatar via mail? That’s awesome. In the portal I’m just waiting for my background check. NC already received it. Just waiting to get it cleared. Hoping to get that NC license in the mail so I don’t gotta worry about it. Which part of NC are you in if you don’t mind me asking

@@johndanieldiosomito7211 I initially ask for temporary license which they send thru email then transitioned to permanent license soon as I receive my NC driver’s license card (which is a proof that NC is now my home state) , if that make sense 😅. I’’m now living in Apex moved from Fayetteville . Welcome to NC!

That’s a double expense on your part. CES cost 450$ the last time I check. Either you negotiate with your agency if they are willing to pay the cost of your CES and Visa screen, or find another agency that wont require CES upfront to start your i140.

Wala naman. As long as you fulfill the needed english test requirement on your visa screen they won’t check whether you took ielts or pte.

Yes, CES pwede rin pero nung time nmin visa screen certificate is suffice na as alternative ng CES.. they will send you email naman and mostly they will accept visa screen cert naman ksi included naman sa visa screen cert yung credential eval natin.

Credential Evaluation Service, magopwn ka cgfns account then request ka CES from there, cgfns will verify your school credentials. But if you still have a copy of your visa screen cert, they usually accept it.

@@chino8749 if cgfns accepts pte for visa screen then it should be sufficient. Visa screen in its essence is an education analysis, licensure validation and english knowledge proficiency. NCBON wont mind in what way did you pass the english test requirement for visa screen as long as you have a visa screen certificate.

You can declare naman, ang kukunin lang naman na good standing is kung saan yung latest na nursing regulatory board kung saan ka latest na may experience.

What if no experience? Need pa ba ng good standing?

I used my ViSA Credit Card in Qatar. I don’t have a US address at that time. Check what’s the error message, and you may need to contact your bank about it.

Yup kailangan mo mag signup sa qchp account mo, qchp pa yung website nila noong nagprocess ako . ngayon nagtransition na sa DHP so Im not familiar na with the interface of their page. There should be option for request there.

Hi mam, thru mail po via DHL yung sakin.inonotify lang kayo ng moph kung ready na cert of good standing nyo, then kayo magaayos ng mailing process nun via dhl sa moph office. Bawal nyong buksan yung envelop. Pinagawa sakin nun is pinasulat lang nila address ng ncbon at pinagbayad ako ng dhl delivery cost.

You can either put yung addresss mo sa pinas as primary address then ksa as mailing address either way okay lang na wala ka munang address sa US kasi nasa ibang bansa ka pa naman once andito ka na pwede mo naman iupdate yun sa NCBON portal.

Yes. NCBON will ask you for good standing certificate from the country where you are currently practicing nursing.

And about ielts? It is required or not?

IELTS is not required for license endorsement. However, it is required for Visa screen immigration requirement.

Yup. Address ko sa qatar, pero ayun nga never na dumating 😸. There’s a fed ex option but you have to pay for it. Details on how to will be instructed by the NCBON coordinator na mag eemail sayo.

Babae po ako 😅. Depende po sa employer nyo usually they need current experience but for license endorsement, Im not sure if it needs to be current. You can ask the ncbon officer to clarify things.

NC is a compact state, so if you wish to get a multistate RN license you have to declare that NC is your primary state of residence. You can just upload your NC drivers license then they will change your RN license from single state to multi state RN license. You can always move in any state you wish to move to if you have an immigrant resident visa which is an entirely different story.

Could take around 2-3 mos. Matagal lang yung Criminal Back ground checks

Matagalan talaga pag saudi verification isama mo pa, kahit di na mo na isama siguro, oks na yan..

Sa verification with NCBON usually they will only ask verification from the current BON kung saan ka latest na nagwowork as a nurse, so kung sa Pinas ka for 4 years sa prc bon ka magpaprocess ng verification.
