NC State coach Kevin Keatts, senior center D.J. Burns and senior guard D.J. Horne took questions from the media following the Wolfpack's 84-76 win over North Carolina in the ACC Tournament title game March 16, 2024, in Washington, D.C.

As a kid I went to Reynolds Coliseum and cheered on NC State. As an adult living 800 miles away, I have been cheering this team on all season. You guys are special. Coach Keatts: I have so much respect for you and how you have inspired this group of young men to do the impossible. No team will likely ever win 5 games in 5 days to be crowned ACC champion. Time to dance - Go Pack!!

Just think, if Virginia would have hit just one foul shot or Mike O'Connell's 3-pt. shot didn't go in at the buzzer, everybody would be talking about if Keatts still had a job or not. Amazing when you think about it.

This team looks even stronger. We weren't playing from behind and hoping they'd miss free throws like in '83. This Wolfpack squad is way better than their record, and it's perfect time of year for them to be playing their very best basketball. NCAA opponents now have to figure out how to stop DJ Burns and how to stop the open man he will find when they double him! 😄

Great job team! Keep playing with team play and it will take you farther than you know. My come up was with that 83 Cinderella team. No one thought they could do it, but, that was a team with grit and they took the title believing in self and Jimmy V.

UNC fan here that doesn’t hate State lol. I was rooting for them until last night. Disappointed as a Tar Heel, but I think it’s great to see the team stick together, fight til the end and save the coach’s job. Go and represent the ACC well in the Big Dance. #GoACC(exceptdook)
