NC State vs. North Carolina: The North Carolina Tar Heels have won their eighth ACC Baseball Championship Title. They won the 2022 championship as the eighth seed, and they defeated the tenth-seeded NC State Wolfpack 9-5. Freshman Vane Honeycutt got the scoring done for UNC early, hitting two home runs and driving in five runs in just the first two innings. Honeycutt was named the 2022 ACC Baseball Championship MVP and he finished the title game going 2-3 with two home runs, five RBI, and a walk. UNC starting pitcher Max Carlson pitched 5.0 innings giving up just three runs and six hits while striking out six. Watch the entire title game right here!
