I did this with the stock seat on my 2017 model. I didn't bother to build the new receptacle. I am heavy and discovered I was crushing the extended rubbers, they had started to bend in the middle. So check them out after a while. It does make the seat more comfortable without the slope. I since bought a Shad and I can live with the slope as the Shad is so comfortable.

FYI like the video I have a Shad seat however I wouldn't recommend placing the front tongue if of the Shad seat up above the original bracket without adding bumpers of the same lifting height to the original bumpers. I rode like that for a few days without bumper risers and that tongue broke off.

Can you feel a difference in seat height here? I'm 1,94cm so a bit higher seat height would be nice

how many cm did you raise the slope?? And you have a Shad seat, would the stock 1 be better too if the slope was adjusted?

I have to do this if the NC750X is anything like the NC700X I have now. How high was the seat raised?

It’s vital to extend the front seat base rubber feet as they take the weight of the rider,failure to do this will result in the front plastic tongue breaking off!

Where is the person that OK'ed the seat slope in the first place?? must have an interest in the aftermarket seat industry I guess.

Still a shame the seat does not fit properly. It seems to be a problem of every home constructed solution. So practically it works but it just does not look good. Do not mis understand me. I also go for the practical solutions but sometimes I just do not like them. So try again please.

Where is the diagram with measurements of how you bent the aluminum? Where is the drill size that you used to drill the mounting holes? Where is the closeup of the spacers (bump stops) that you used? Where is the list of sourcing for all the parts you used? This video doesn't help the non-technical owner of an NC very much.
