Looking most forward to seeing your custom run and shoot offense as well as your Tampa 2 defensive playbook. I'd say the most convenient way would be to just scroll through the playbooks through videos on here as you have in the past. I'd also like to see which pre-play shifts you make to maximize the defense's efficiency in the Tampa 2 against both the run and pass.

I find that I always play my smartest, most efficient football basing outta the Strong I or I formation running off the 'Power O' play. Ala Stanford & Michigan State.... Although I love to watch high octane spread Offences, I just tend to force things too much when running multiple receiver sets

Can you try using any of the pistol playbooks, whichever one that suits you the best :p. I have been trying to run a pistol offense but I just don't know where to start, so any advice would be extremely helpful.

Kia, I am a huge fan of your videos! I apply a lot of your insight about the game of football into my game play style. I have a playbook that I have created that is my best to merge old school Tom Osborne and new school Urban Meyer. Playbook is called "The Rock" you can find it at SimSports. As the playbook suggests it is meant to pound the rock. I only pass out of it 10-15 times per game if allowed. I think that you will find it right up your alley from one fan of the flexbone to another.

nykia31, Another nice video and I want second what you said to about both Madden and NCAA having their playbooks to bulky, too many plays and concepts. In the real world most coaches will tell you they want to run a condensed number of plays or concepts but run them from a variety of different looks. In other words, and I use this phrase a lot especially in real life as well as the video game, "we want to be simple but look complicated". I want to run IZ, OZ, POWER and COUNTER out of every formation possible along with it's variations. The same is true with the passing game, STICK, SLANTS, SMASH, FLOOD, CURL/FLAT, VERTICALS and SHALLOW CROSS out of every formation possible. Same with my screens. This helps you in real life obviously to become more proficient, because of time constraints, helps you to become a better play caller less all the baggage. I think the same can be true with the video game. The AIR RAID guys have really took condensing their playbooks to heart as most of them only really run 7-10 concepts but with a multitude of different looks, window dressing if you will. You do not need 5 ways to attack B Gap for instance. Another way to be simple and look complicated is by "TAGGING" not only your passing game, but your run game too. Changing a specific route in shallow cross from a post to a corner now allows for a smash concept to one side of the formation when dealing with the passing game. You can "TAG" your run game too in real life b sending your back away from flow which many call "SLICE", "SPLIT", or SPLIT FLOW", or by making a "BOSS" call which means leading to the side of flow and BOSS mean BACK ON STRONG SAFETY. All about being simple but looking complicated through the use of formations, shifting, motion, and cutting down on the number of plays you run. Couple this with the process of TAGGING both your pass and run plays and now you have a trimmed down version of an offense you can handle both in real life and the video game. good job buddy irishfbfan1
