You may have won the Big 10 championship, you might be playing National Championship, but lets be honest: You would have never gotten this far without Leon Daniels. All joking aside, great job Cane. Lets get em' Gophers!

Minnesota's offensive line was looking like Oprah out there. "You get a sack! And you get a sack! Everyone gets a sack!"

This has been an UNREAL year. When Mckenzie got hurt, I was almost positive this was gonna be an awful year. Now, we're going to the National Championship. Win or lose, this was the best season ever.

Comeback. Of. The. Year.

This is like a flashback to the only college football game I've ever attended in real life--Michigan at Minnesota back in 2003, where Michigan overcame a 28-7 deficit late in the 3rd to win 38-35. The ending also reminds me of the game this past season when Michigan made a goal line stand at the last second to hold on to a 29-26 win. Even though this is just a video game, it feels good to see Minnesota take this game away. If only they could start doing that in reality...

And the scary thing is...Minnesota made it to the National Championship WITHOUT Andy McKenzie. I never would have believed it. This team has truly had a season unlike any other. They weren't the most talented team, nor the most complete team, maybe not even the best coached team...but they had luck and a ton of heart. Congrats to the Gophers on a great season. I can't wait for the NC game and beyond!!!

Great job Cane! Really did not think this would be the season that you would make it into the National Championship, especially after Andy went down. This game was so intense, loving the series right now! Good luck against GT, cannot wait for the next game!

Well damn...I think I'll get the negatives out of the way first. It looked like you just could not adapt to them blitzing you most of the game. I was telling my screen to run screens over and over again! Honestly it felt like the last Michigan match up all over again, but this time you kept it close enough to come back, which you did. I'll be real. This team has overachieved tremendously this season. I don't care what people say. When the face of the team goes down week 1 with a season ending injury expectations fall greatly. This team just has a will of steel. On a positive note Michigan was such a poor matchup for you because of their awesome passing offense. You survived it, and came back when I didn't think you could. Chalk this down as another time this team surprised me. This was such a poorly executed game and you still won against a team that dominates where you're biggest weakness is defensively. Awesome stuff. Georgia Tech...This is going to be a great challenge. Their biggest strength against your biggest strength. Let's see just how improved the Triple Option is compared to last years game. I've always been the type of person that doesn't like to make predictions before a season starts. I did so after Andy went down, and the reason I don't like predictions so early is you can go back and make a fool of the person who predicted something so poorly. I was dead wrong. I predicted 6-7 wins if I recall correctly...Honestly I really believed that, but this team has so much heart...You can't predict heart. I'll always be realistic in my predictions, but it doesn't mean I WANT the team to do poorly. This team is so unpredictable. I wouldn't be surprised with whatever happens in the National Title game. What an unexpectedly great season. I know I bag on you sometimes with your playcalling Cane, but you made the most out of what you had at QB, and that's a commendable feat. Great job, and good luck on the final game.

all i can say is WOW. your team played incredible in the 2nd half, some of the best football i've seen out of them. andrew makenzie returns for the championship which will make it even more awesome. how cool would it be if you win the national championship just after the rams won the superbowl.

I didn't think anything could happen. After it became a 2 score game I started getting hope back, and was jumping in joy with ten seconds to play in the game. Talk about a roller coaster ride and now hopefully you can defeat the men in yellow. #NationalTitleBound

What a come back. At first when I saw the score was 27 to 7 I was thinking oh no not again but you kept on fighting and pulled this one out. The main thing you need to focus on for next season is your defensive coverage on WRs. If you get that down pack your defense will be unstoppable. I'm so excited for the big game next week. Absolutely amazing game. For some reason in Dynasty mode Georgia Tech is always one of the best teams because they're always either playing in the National Championship or Orange Bowl.

I remember when cane opened season 3 against army and I was happy he wasn't going against Georgia tech because they are the triple option on steroids I spoke a couple months too soon cane use the 4-4 5-2 and the 46 defense the computer runs on first second and third and less than 3 yards they only pass on third down cane remember that good luck in the bcs championship

Cane give your head a shake! Michigan is sending heat all game long and instead of running short pass plays and screens you continue with the long dropbacks and Johnson pays the price.

Andrew Johnson is a very good backup. He can't uncork a deep ball when needed, can throw shot to intermediate passes with little difficulty, can run effectively if he needs to. He also has a lot of confidence knowing he has 3 great runnings revolving in the backfield that can spring off a huge gain at any moment. Also, he has receivers that can make clutch catches when the game is on the line examples are Martin Parker and Doug Duckett. Also, he can sleep at night knowing he has a great defense to back him up if he's not having the greatest game.

This season reminded me exactly of Friday Night Lights the Movie. Andy McKenzie- Boobie Miles both go down to season ending injuries in the first game when they were winning big. It was like the first Michigan game was th done against Abilene in the movie where they were dominated, and the Cal game earlier was like Midland in the movie, you coulda had it and lost in the last seconds. But here comes the backup outta nowhere like Comer in the movie, and leads them to the championship game. Good luck Cane!

what a game man... for me, the most valuable player was martin parker but i have to mention alonzo holland and Johnson... even though johnson didn´t have his best game he was cold blooded at the end specially with all the sacks... Now, to the NC, i see a really good match up... specially because your are #1 in stoping the run, you have send a lot of blitz to stop that offense. In the offense you have to take care of the ball like in this game, short passes and you have to avoid getting sacked. Great comeback cane... good luck on the NC... :D

What an awesome season this has been. Holy cow. I can't believe ANDREW JOHNSON with all his deficiencies has scored Minnesota the B10 Championship. This team clearly rallied after Andy went down and didn't give up. Fantastic game. DarkFalcon nailed my big peeve with this game, which was how you were unable to adapt to their heavy blitz game. But you did a much better job in the secondary this time. Michigan wasn't taking as many shots downfield - it helps when they think you're done for by the time the second half starts and play conservative. Also, 30+ rushing TDs from Georgia Tech? EA pls

When they keep up with the blitzes u need to run the hb slip screens. All u do is hike it and wait for the running back to make his cut toward the sideline and lob it if there are no defensive players following or bullet it if there is. Works 100% of the time for me

I have to agree with DarkFalcon 100% on this one, it wasn't a very well executed game and screens would have helped a lot. On the upside the blocking was much better in the running game this game, except for a few early plays with Martindale in the backfield. Martindale should really be getting more carries than Holland because he is having a better season, Holland has just been the beneficiary of better blocking (YAC stat). Also Martindale is better as a blocker, that sack on Johnson that Holland blew in the 3rd quarter could have been prevented. All in all it was a good win, and we all look forward to the NC Game vs GT. P.S. Leon needs a td

Two observations: First: ALONSO HOLLAND. If you're not calling his number on enough plays to someday retire his Minnesota jersey, there's something wrong with you. Second: those two fourth down conversations on the drive to get out of being down 27-7 were the thickest gut-check moments of your entire dynasty thus far. Each time, if you failed, Michigan's initiative probably puts you down 34-7, and then you'd have been out of it. Final reality: when the chips were down, your guys were truly all in.

Just realized Cane was down 28-7 against Michigan in that OT win from way back when, so this isn't even his biggest comeback victory over them :-)

GT is actually the best possible matchup for Cane. Not only do I think he wins, I think he wins fairly easily.
