@@MrBubblesPro It's a purely financial decision. The goal of live service games like MH is player retention. Lower MR requirements=more returning players and more current players sticking around for the new content.

It ain't just you dude. I always had elemental weapons at the ready. Alatreon kinda made things easy, especially when I finally chose to switch to LBG for his fight alone.

One of my biggest issues with the game, honestly. The jankiness of the clutch-claw, especially how crucial it is for late game hunts.

@@Kuganurio1994 they're buffing it next update. Wounds now take longer to heal which basically means Weakness exploit is now much more powerful and that you don't need to clutch as often as you need to like what we have atm.

Kind of reminds me of the stygian zinogre armour... I love the design of the high rank armour, but the G rank armour looked strange to me, so I never got it. Instead, I rocked high rank armour all the way through G rank. Got laughed at a bit and booted a few times in online mode, but the first time I cleared white fatalis with the set, I got the question of how. My answer? I can't take a hit. So I simply don't get hit. And after rolling with a G rank team for months, facing off against every creature in the game and winning, that's how I got the name Untouchable. lol

i remember one time in tri i entered a lobby of guys bragging that they beat alatreon by themselves, so i joined there next ala quest and all 3 fainted in the first 10 minutes that was nice

Should laugh at people who used ranged. Melee is how people who don't want ez mode play MH games. In fact I never use ranged to the point that even when its stupid OP its worse than my average melee weapon.

Too bad they set him up to be invincible when he's charging the thunder. If he can be interrupted when charging up, sacrificing temporal mantle is enough to make him kiss the wall.

The only time I got killed during the initial clutch was when the leader of the hunt DC'd.

@@leandroTRA tbh rocksteady is very usefull against him, you only need to be fast to slap his face before receive enough dmg, I always use rocksteady agains't him and don't remember last time I died because of it

Have you tried to use fire resistance 50? O used it and there is no attack that can one-shot me, except of flame attack that needs barriers to be blocked, obviously

This is pretty true, my issue became running a build too tanky so I wouldn't get one shot or even 2 shot, but id run out of time to kill him. That's all for now since I still haven't killed him.

@@killercloud5768 i reached a set that allowed me to kill fatalis in 27 mins and having more than 40 fire resistance,,,, every piece of equipment that has 2 or more fire resistance is good (example raging brachy, golden rathian and alatreon), but you need also a jewel with fire resistance level 3 and finally eat for elemental resistance level 3..., you can use alatreon set 3 pieces and golden rathian with divine blessing (that saves you a lot of times).... You can easily reach a set that has an high elemental damage OR 100%affinity having all of these defensive abilities (plus felyne defender that works like divine blessing and when both of them are active, one hit could be reduced 10 times... Remember pieces of golden rathian and raging brachy OR alatreon and try to use a weapon like switch axe or insect glaive

My buddy got killed by that in the Invincible Ground State. Minor bug with major impact that should hot fixed

@@DRida64 If you're playing Gunner, it'll save you from the least damaging moves, at least, and it can save Blademasters from everything but the worst of the moveset. To be fair... I do run Def Up L on my Horn for EXs, so maybe that makes me biased. More importantly... the skills in that armour'll massively increase your damage. More damage = shorter hunt = much easier fight. Sorry if I missed a joke, but I wanted to clarify.

The Tri lobby was great. Still my best experience with any online games. There was an incredible Lancer from Mexico City, Joel that I got to play with regularly. Learned a lot from that guy.

@@tyrellthiel2201 I always played with my friend who was very shy at the time so we mostly hung out at the empty lobbies at the bottom of the server list. I still think it's by far the coolest lobby though. I probably coulda used someone like Joel myself, he sounds awesome. In Tri I used a lance but I only really mastered the shield half. Came in handy later on but now that the game has sped up and guard skills were nerfed in Rise my guard lancing skills have fallen off quite a bit in viability.

@@matthewcoyle4131 Capcom has nerfed the Lance every generation. I would give up all the newfound mobility to have the gen 1 offensive power back... yeah, base Rise required some adjustment for me, I really like to turtle with the lance

I got through all of village and into high rank in 3u before i stopped playing. I just there were so many hunts with multiple monsters that it was tiring to run through them all.

This is the main problem. You don't fight Alatreon, you fight EJ. If you have a build that can deal with EJ (or just dont care and eat for Safeguard, only fainting at the EJ) then the fight is actually fun.

well the fight itself is no challenge at all, only doing enough damage. it´s like fighting against a Sandbag against time

@@notveryimmortal7350 After killing over 300 alatreon's I'd say it's best to wait until he's in the air for a guaranteed flinch shot the only time I even try to go for a wall bang is when he's standing right next to it. There are still times where it looks like he's running into the wall but doesn't get KO'd really annoying.
