I can’t believe we finally know what was in the box. And I loved the anticipation and Deeks’s reaction to the surprise and meaning behind it. Kensi was right. It was what he always wanted.

this is pretty perfect... i really loved it xoxo my theory; i think the box is like a sort of reference to three hearts. The first heart, the outer box, she opened up herself... so in other words, she let him in. so at this point she already sort of showed him that he is "the one person put on the earth to walk by her side." since she litterally gave the box to him, this means that he OWNS her second heart. I think that the reason for not letting either of them open up the next box is becayse theyre simply not ready. they have to enjoy and embrace the fact that they have eachothers second hearts at this point. there are lots of relationships and marriages in which the thirth hears just dies with its owner, without ever being showed. the reason I think, why kensi gave it to him in the form of a box, is because she knows he has the abbility of opening it. of opening her up. and on this way she just gives him the power to open it up when he feels ready.If the writers decide that there has to be something more obvious, or more understandable inside because otherwhise it would be a huge disapointmend for the fans who dont quite understand the whole three heart situation, then I think they will put her journal in a thirth box.this will still be a huge reference to her tirth heart, but just a bit more understandeble, because in this case her journal references the most honest and truthfull part of het heart. so I know this is much and I know this is a bit of a complicated theory but its what I make out of it... please let me know what u think is in the box as well xoxo
