Going on the Gem in 2024. Our last cruise was in 2017. We were supposed to go again in 2020. We had been given future cruise credits which I thought had expired, but apparently NCL customers "convinced" them to extend the offer again. I was delighted to discover our FCC was still valid! Finally returning to Bermuda, at a cost to us, using a Casino at Sea certificate from Foxwoods, with one prepaid specialty dining meal service charge and prepaid gratuities, is less than $300 plus excursions. Fantastic!

Our last cruise was in November to Bermuda on the Joy. We had a great time. I love the Joy. I enjoyed the observation lounge a lot. But I hear they are replacing much of the space with balcony cabins.

@@Carolmaizy The Dawn was our first cruise in 2006. Would love to sail on her again. We've also been on the Joy and Jewel. We are going on the Escape for the second time in September. We are doing the New England/Canada out of NY. We live on Long Island. All our NCL cruises have been out of NY. My husband hates flying.

@@lorigrimaldi194 We've sailed on the Dawn three times. Good memories. We flew to Florida to sail to the Bahamas on our first cruise, and to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Key West on our third. We live near Boston, so it's been Boston to Bermuda three times. My husband doesn't care for the pre and post cruise plane and hotel thing either, even though all the travel arrangements are done by me,lol. I do love Bermuda, so it's not a sacrifice. I hope you have a wonderful time on your New England cruise! I love our part of the U.S., and love visiting Canada.

We love NCL’s jewel class ships- entertainment venues don’t require reservations or long wait lines. Please include info about the theme nights, as many online reviews are 5+ years outdated. Thanks.
