I'm loving the appreciation here, guys, this is what we're doing it for :)! We sadly haven't been able to get to rebalancing the current chars yet, but Gohan should be done very soon (he is in his final beta test session now), I think you're going to love him, he brings a bunch of new things to the table! Thanks guys.

I think the main problem is Goku's teleport. Despite being super fan, it's broken. Other chars don't have anything not even remotely comparable.

Crazy how I am still watching this Can a tournament be upcoming soon? Please ? If we can get a world wide tournament in like NYC and the fans donate to prizepool that would be great

Well it's not just this video, we've seen plenty. But thins like SSJ Goku's Teleport is pretty obvious that it needs to be nerfed, like it using 1 stock of super bar instead of 1/2 one.

Balthazar Awesome effort man! Just one suggestion, have you seen DBZ mugen 2008 version Google "DBME2K8" That version had some really awesome moves and instant transmission effects and speeds Also the map used to be bigger compared to character sprite, which felt better Just suggestions man I would really like to play this mugen with more characters and better moves Thanks for this though

Balthazar Nerf Satan to where his kick attacks (for other players) cost 0 bars, and only one of them does. Also make it so Satan's CPU doesn't just spam those.

We're not going to rework or edit Satan or Saibamen as they are just joke characters. In the next update we'll probably omit them from the Versus (Player vs Player) modes but maybe keep them as opponents in Arcade (vs CPU) Modes.

Loved the video, I can't wait for the devs of Hyper DBZ to launch Gohan! The fighting game reference of DBZ is clearly the Budokai serie made by DIMPS (co-devs of SFIV) Man, Budokai 3 and Infinite World were such quality games with cancel mechanics :D

Random question why isn't Dragonball Z or Naruto games in the FGC? The newer ones where you can dodge and jump/fly around? I recently watched some on TGN and that shit got intense haha.

Yeah, I always wanted to see budokai 3 in a serious tourney but people complain about melee only having 7-8 viable characters,and with dbz it would be goku with the occasional underdog buu or vegeta every match.

Kyle Rayner I'm glad you recon Budokai 3 as a good game but you don't seem to know the cancel style and the tiers of this game. For playing it at competitive level I can easely say that Goku is not the best character in the game :) I sure enjoy playing with him but he is far stronger in Infinite World than in B3. The best character in Budokai 3 is Cell.
