I've read in team-bhp forums that RR-Unit is prone to breakdowns on interceptor 650's. Some owners have taken extended warranties for their interceptors. Good catch from your end. I was thinking the same might have happened. (I've read almost all posts on team-bhp forums upto last month for RE 650 twins)

Make a plug and play wire extention to relocate RR unit, you may be right due to extreme heat RR unit is loosing its efficiency after sometime.

Thanks a ton for this video , today same RR unit issue happened with me & went to service centre, they are also admitted that it prone to dammage due to hit & location for this unit , also advise if change this unit then it will be ventilated & less chances to damage, now one issue how to extend cable length & where to place this unit , seems some customised cable connector needed for this, I am sure many of us facing similar issues & only change RR unit not helping for long run.need your informative video on this & extend cable connector, many thanks in advance..

RR unit is across issue in all interceptor. RE parts quality issues rehte hi hai baki vo thik ho jaye to yaha aur koi bike bikega hi nahi RE k alava. Ur knowledge is excellent sir

Can we relocate rr unit on the front near oil cooler?

I m also having issue with battery in my gt 650. The battery drains and can't start if the bike is kept idle for just 3-4 days. I didn't know what to do. Changed it under warranty. But the problem reoccured. I feel so fortunate to come across this video. Earlier it was impossible to find negative video on RE 650. Some kind of algorithms tempering by RE or what don't know. But thanks to this video I will try this diagnosis now.
