Taeyong has definitely mastered isolated moves while mark is incredibly smooth

Mark’s style is very street dancer, he almost overcommits to movements because there’s no part of his body that isn’t engaged when he’s dancing. It’s passionate, stylish, and very fun. He’s the type of dancer that makes you want to join him, and he’s probably more inclined to be improvisational with his dance when he can be. Taeyong on the other hand is quite technical as a dancer. You can see the effort he takes to isolate different parts of his body while he’s moving others, the effect being a skillful precision of movements. Very smooth, ‘I didn’t come here to fuck around’ attitude. He’s the type of dancer other dancers find especially impressive. Both styles are really unique to them, and it’s amazing how they can come together and move in sync the way they do when they perform!

Took me a full minute to realize they weren't actually next to each other...that's some real social distancing.

Both are awesome dancers but Mark is literally made for this style. He has such a natural groove, it looks almost effortless when he's dancing. Taeyongs move are more elegant and very on point.

Everytime the chorus hits, Taeyong's hips dont lie. There's really something in that part! he's both sharp and smooth like wow God Taeyong indeed 🔥

While I love Mark’s style, I must say Taeyong is on another level. There’s something so visually appealing and technical about his style that just makes him honestly puts him in the top kpop dancers around atm

i'm no professional but their style of dancing is very satisfying to look at! mark has a more energetic, bouncier approach. each movement is super controlled and full, not a single movement lazy or underdanced. no wonder he's often put in the center-- his dancing sets the whole mood of the performance, makes you wanna groove along while enjoying the song. it's also crazy how precise he was with the beat... taeyong, however, while still sharp and smooth, has a more stylistic(?) approach in his movements? almost like he's showing off his skills! he adds improvements to his routine while sticking true to the original choreo. really clean but still giving off sexy vibes! i think mark exceed in gestures while taeyong in facial expressions. it's amazing though how NCT 127 has not one, but /TWO/ super talented main dancers like them in one single group. props to them 👏

3:20 Mark OWNS this part of the choreo. His movements are so groovy and he just exudes swag and confidence. The head slightly tilted back, combined with the arm and leg movements, feels like he's saying "come at me" and it literally fits the whole martial arts vibe so well.

Taeyong put details on his moves. Every move is so clear and sharp. Meanwhile Mark is more like energetic type. I personally prefer taeyong's dancing style, bcs it's satisfying to see every details on his moves and how he hit the beat perfectly.

Taeyong's isolation is sooooo good I mean SO GOOD. One of the best isolations I've ever seen ;;-;; It's like every part on his body has a brain of their own (lol that sounds weird) and that helps so much in catching your attention. He's so sure of what he wants to go where, what he wants to project, he's a true master of his own body. I also like Mark's style a lot, and imo this song is not the best one for him (eventho he still totally rocks it), his groove and control is very smooth, and Kick It seems more strength + speed based. I much enjoyed him in Simon Says, he was bouncing around great in that one.

I think I prefer Mark's style over Taeyong's. Mark is better at some moves and same goes for Taeyong, but I'm always drawn to Mark when he dances.

It’s interesting to see how each individual interprets the same choreography, you could see their dancing style throughout. And it’s what I always love to see in every group dance, so the synchronized dancing where everyone are exactly the same is not my cup of tea.

마크는 안무하나 날리는것 없이 정석으로 추면서 리듬타는게 천재적인듯 기본적인 안무를 제대로 추면서 자기만의 느낌까지 표현한다는게 말처럼 쉬운게 아닌데 마크는 제일 중요한 기본을 버리지 않고 있구나 생각들고 거기에다가 박자를 존나 잘타고 춤출때 자기도 모르게 나오는 버릇도 없고 오바도 안해서 보기좋음 진짜 중요한게 뭔지 아는놈임 이렇게 춤추는 사람은 계속 실력이 늘수밖에 없음
