You’re right, that is a mashup, all of them being NCT U songs coz NCT U (U stands for United) is a rotational subunit, and who does the song and how many do it will vary depending on the sound they want for it. So you caught the first verse being Make A Wish, well done. The second verse, where they’re wearing all white, is 90’s Love. The third verse, mixture of red, white, and denim attire, is Work It. The part that served as the chorus is Raise The Roof, another NCT U song. I would also recommend watching the behind the scenes video for Resonance, it’s about 15 minutes long but well worth it. Watch for the bit about 2/3 to 3/4 of the way through where they film the kicking the camera transition. Coz Ten really did kick the camera by accident, but the director was like “that was awesome!”

WayV= Kun, Winwin, Ten, Lucas, Xiaojun, Hendery, YangYang.(chinese unit) Nct Dream= Mark(127), Renjun, Jeno, Haechan (127), Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung. (These are the newest) Nct U= This unit is composed of all members of several units. (Currently two new members have joined, Sungchan who is Korean and Shotaro who is Japanese!) Nct is a group that has no concept like the others and has an unlimited number of members, that is, 2080 we will have more than 100 people - I'm kidding. 💚

NCT U is when they form a group from different main units. Main units are 127, Dream and WayV. The U in NCT U means "unlimited".

Yes, You're right. This is the mash-up of their title songs from their album, resonance pt 1 and pt 2. This is the second album that includes all NCT members. Because they always come back with their own units (NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV ). These units are fixed units. But there is one unit that has a rotational system. The name of the unit is NCTU. Every title song from this album is sung by NCTU which means all the members are group according to the concept of songs. I recommend u to react more NCT guides to know their concepts probably.

Thank you for the reaction 💚 yes it was an NCT2020 project and they did an album called RESONANCE which had all the units and this video combined 4 songs (Make a wish - Raise the roof - 90's Love - Work it) and these songs are from the album, but the individual units released other albums in 2020 before this project.

NCT has three fixed subunits (in order of debut): NCT 127: Taeyong (leader in 127 and overall), Taeil, Johnny, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Mark, Haechan. 127 was the first fixed group to debut (after NCT U). Winwin is technically still part of the group, but since he joined WayV he hasn’t been active with them. In terms of international popularity, 127 are the most “known” unit. NCT Dream: Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, Jisung (both Mark and Haechan are also in 127). Dream used to have a graduation concept, as they are made up of the youngest members in NCT. This meant that Mark (the oldest) graduated and wasn’t part of the group for 2 comebacks, but they’ve since gotten rid of the concept and are now a fixed unit (including mark), however they do have a “rotational” concept still, meaning that for some comebacks or promotions they can have 5 or 6 members only (which makes sense since Haechan is busy with 127 and Mark with both 127 and SuperM, too). In terms of popularity in Korea itself, Dream are the most popular unit. WayV (chinese unit): Kun, Ten, Winwin, Xiaojun, Lucas, Hendery, Yangyang. WayV are the chinese unit of NCT, and they promote a log overseas but also in Korea itself. They debuted in 2019, adding 3 more members to nct (xiaojun, yangyang and hendery) as the other 3 had previously debuted with NCT U or NCT 127 already, they debuted with the Chinese version of Regular (original kor. version by NCT 127). and then this is where it gets a little more complicated: NCT U is what we call a “rotational unit” meaning that the members in NCT U vary each comeback and depend on the song. As of now, every member in NCT has been part of NCT U at least once, so I wouldn’t fixate too much on who’s part of U, as I said, it varies each and every time. In 2018 they had a joined comeback with all 18 members (5 less than they have now); which is definitely something you should also check out in the future. Then for their 2020 comeback (the album they did with all 23 members), two new members joined: Sungchan (90’s Love debut) and Shotaro (Make a Wish debut). They’ve been part of NCT U, but they aren’t in any fixed unit (yet). So they are part of NCT as a whole, but not officially of any units aside from U. To get to know the members more, I’d recommend doing so by fixed unit first. As that is less overwhelming and easier to remember them by, but it also gives you more of an idea as to what each unit has to over. The fixed units is what they mostly promote as throughout the year. For each unit, there’s guides to get to know the members personally. In terms of listening to their music, I recommend doing so by order of release for each individual unit.

NCT 2020 - Resonance is a Mashup of 4 NCT U songs from the 2020 album. Make A Wish ( Birthday Song), Raise the Roof, 90's Love and Work It.

In a way, this was like a "rewind" but of their entire NCT2020 Resonance era. It was a mashup of 3 of their NCT U title tracks (Make A Wish, 90's Love, Work It) meshed together with "Raise the Roof" which is a B-side off their album. Yes it was different units shown each time but all units were NCT U because the members of NCT U changes depending on song.

NCT U is basically a collab sub unit of the entirety of NCT. Members from Dream, 127, or WayV can be part of it. Songs in this song/performance are all NCT U songs from 2020. (Make a Wish, 90’s Love, Work It, and Raise the roof)

Hey gentlemen, sorry for the delayed reply as your video just came on my youtube recommendation. Just to add to what other commenters already explained: it is not so much that this was from all the songs from last year put together, but this is a medley of 4 songs from the NCT 2020 album that came out a few months ago. NCT has their big project where all sub-units get together every 1-2 years to release a performance and/or album. It was started with NCT 2018 with all of them performing BLACK ON BLACK as in 2018 (there were 18 members total at that time). Last year they united again under the banner NCT 2020. This remixed medley was made up of the following songs from the album, which you could react to: - MAKE A WISH (you already know) - 90’s LOVE - WORK IT - RAISE THE ROOF (b-side, no MV) In addition, they also made 2 other videos from the same RESONANCE album: - MISFIT (featuring some of their rap line) - FROM HOME (featuring some of their vocal line) Hope this helps a little bit. Now is the best time to dive into them since they will be debuting a new sub-unit soon and new members soon.
