TRUE. i come from a christian family (and christianity forbids swearing) but as you said, it’s literally just a word. fricking, crap, shoot, dang, they all pretty much have the same intent as like shit (i guess i’m a disappointment to my family now) or something, but for some reason, they are seen as “mild” and “ok”. like what the hell? Personally I would say its v informal/rude but not exactly a swear word, but im british and I've noticed americans tend to think of things like damn and ass like ten said as much worse than us brits do, and as far as i know ten had a British education so he probably doesn't think of them as particularly harsh words seeing as he says them on a live with no worries, not that I think much would stop him from properly swearing if he felt like it 😂
