Shotaro is very inspired by hip hop dancing, idk any specific artists that may have inspired him though. He has a LOT of experience, before joining NCT he was a professional dancer already. He's been dancing since he was 5 and in Japan he was a part of multiple dance crews (EXPG was one), and he was a back up dancer for a well known artist named Gackt and toured with him, which is probably how Shotaro saw NCT 127 perform during their Japan tour in 2019 before he ever joined SM. SM then scouted him that same year and he moved to Korea in early 2020 and was in NCT by the end of 2020, SM knew they had a gem fr! Also I LOVE the NCT Dream comeback, Glitch Mode is so perfectly NCT and NCT Drea, it's experimental, but also fun and lighthearted which is right up Dream's alley and the choreo is so cool. The album is even better, just gold. Hope you check it out!

I was ambivalent to Glitch Mode, at first listening BUT it has grown on me. I love their styling though. I love Shotaro and the dancers on this.

I don't know, but I may like Glitch Mode more thann Hello Future....MAYBE. The styling is GORGEOUS! I love how they turned Jisung into an ice prince with the frost bitten snowflakes on his face. Renjun's daffodil scene was stunning and he sounded beautiful. Haechan Jackson is ACE as always. Love Jeno's pink hair, Chenle sounds amazing and Mark is on 100 as always. The chore is so SMART, they legit look like there is a glitch in their dancing. I really love this and the lyrics are so cute! Shotaro is so incredible. I'm so excited to see more of him!

Pretty much all we know is he's liked dancing since a young age and liked hip-hop the most. Almost everyone I've seen have said how he makes choreo look effortless.

I was looking forward to you checking out Glitch Mode for the styling. It’s some of the best. I love the Powerpuff Girl colour stories. One of the most cohesive but fun eras. The Dreamies have a great style team and this era is free from the whoever keeps pulling and sending SM the worst pieces from Celine.

the glitch mode dance routine is very good and unique . i'am not usualy easly impress bye boys group dance routine ( because i see many great dance routine made by 2nd gen group ) but this one is very great .

The hand sign he was doing at this part - 8:36 is the hand sign that represents NCT. They do it sometimes. The only other song I can think of where they show it is ‘Touch’ by NCT 127, Taeil does it in the MV.

I love the choreo of Glitch Mode but the song I..... I'm just being honest 😭 for me the dance break melody ruind the song . I was expecting a very hard beat drop but... I prefer Conextion than Glitch hope it will also get more views because the song and choreo is sooo dope 👌

I am still so frustrated. Everyone has been commenting or complaining about this song. Either you "GET" the SM and NCT sound and music structure or you "DON'T GET IT." People have been talking out of both sides of their mouths. They say the video was fire, what they wear is fire, Mark's rap and the vocals were fire.....and then turn around and comment that they are not sure how they feel about the song....uh...Enough with the passive aggressive comments. This song ROCKS. Their sound sets them apart from every other group out right now. Total insult to the boys hard work and talent. If you don't get it....don't react to it. This happens with everyone of their releases, getting real old. Thank you for my time on the soap box. I'm done with my rant....lol.

Someone can like a video/performance without loving the song lmao. Glitch Mode is my least favorite Dream title track. Not everyone is going to enjoy it.

I typically like NCT stuff at first listen but when you are experimental like SM, that’s just how it goes🤷🏾‍♂️there will always be songs that people have to listen to multiple times to understand. SM is known for putting out “grower” songs on purpose that will grow on people
