Cycbdwss SM is mainly known for their artist vocals as they are trained to be able to sing live while being stable during intense choreo, some even say they have some of the best vocals trainers in the industry. But of course SM artists have good choreo and performance cuz they’re all talented

@@igatekeephj4456 I'm a very very big fan of BH and their group BTS(my no.1 kpop b-group) not because of their talents like Singing and Dancing but what I really like is their attitude, BigHit is my 2nd most liked entertainment next to JYP, we can all agree that every entertainment has best vocals. SM has the most talented singers BTW I'm not really a big fan of SM but I really like their groups, but we can all agree that SM is the MOST strict in terms of vocals, and many kpop fans witnessed how SM trained their trainees. No Hate Spread Love, Stay Safe and God Bless 😁

My favorite song from the reload album is Quiet down. It’s where the main vocalists rap as if they own the rapper titles. NCT Dream never disappoints. You should check it out! :) Edit: Just a quick note, you should watch a lyric video so you know who’s singing which parts and so you can undeserved the lyrics. You're absolutely right. SM really has high standards for vocal ability when it comes to their artists. That's why i really don't understand why people always say they focus more on visuals. I mean, i get that every SM group almost has no visual hole but they focus on vocals too...like a lot.

There is definitely an SM formula. Their producers mainly compose tracks with a lot of background "noise" (sounds that aren't necessarily instrument based). And then they throw in the smooth vocals at the bridge and chorus to calm down the confusion. The vocals normally consist of a major to minor chord progression, or like Bris noticed the step down progression. The song normally culminates with strong adlibs mixed with a slightly remixed version of the "noise" heard in the beginning of the song. They do it with EXO, all nct sub groups, shinee, and even Red Velvet

Sm vocals are superb. Honestly SM is a vocal company with some more skills. The production, the harmonies, background vocals, adlibs, the isolated vocals, hidden vocals, the way all of their artists have such a unique sound and vocal color but when it comes to sing together they sound like one person. They are top tier indeed.

4:30 Yes i agreed. SM music DEMANDS vocal and performances from their artists. Their weekly/monthly auditions and training are known to be very strict in the industry. They believe that every rock can be turn into diamonds, some of the top vocalists in SM was just mediocre when they were scouted/entered SM. Its the hellish training that makes them who they are now.

It is too deep for Haechan though...Unless he surprised us. CHENLE & RENJUN deserve more recognition and attention. Chenle is also a MAIN vocalists along with Haechan and has a "fuller" voice or tone. Renjun is the lead vocal and hit 1 or 2 of those high notes, but the camera kept moving away from him and didn't show him singing them.

It is a known fact that SM vocals are the best. People always say how SM accepts only attractive people, and it may be the truth, but what I find amazing is their training, because there is no hole in any of their groups, like all of their artists are talented af. Imagine how strong the trainers are if they can build the talent like that from nothing.
