The intro NCT did here really reminds me of Toningt. NCT surely got many excellent vocalists like Taeil, Doyoung, Jungwoon. But in term of the range of highnote they did in the middle of song, Tonight is still unbeatable.

NCT is good, but TVXQ is the best, I miss them so much TwT

Tonight is one of tvxq´s best songs.... it is just incredible... I wish more of the new wave groups would do a cover of this song

you don’t understand how much I love From Home rearranged version bc it reminds me of Tonight 🥺 NCT is the only group I’ve loved the way I loved DB5K so it kinda makes sense now why. NCT being given this version is a flex too, bc DB5K is the best vocal group, in fact they were supposed to be an accapella group- it means NCT is able to meet their standards. Both songs were arranged by the same person.

SM always pull outs those 90's R&B boyband live performance flawlessly, with all the naration also the riff and runs. LOVE IT!

I'm glad that I am not the only one... I cried last night for two reason, first because of NCT's journey...from their trainee life up until now.. and two...missing DB5K , their ballads, their harmonization...especially this song...

Why i think the basic things and material all that vibe about celebrities now gotten from TVXQ, like we know TVXQ is really succesful group especially in that time they had most popularity, TVXQ even has its own variety show (that include so many things in it i was just really surprised that they did unpack their bag, did some games recording process footage similar that NCT did too). The members have all the definition of real idols like talent, visual, entertaining skill, idk about their personal attitude but their true personalities are attractive

Well, I suddenly remembered DBSK while watching NCT U from home performance. My first impression was that I saw DBSK - tonight when NCT performed. And for me to remember DBSK. I'm glad a lot of nctzen or cassiopea remember it. 😁. Btw Haechan and Junsu voice similar.

When I first listen to From home (rearrange version). It reminds me to Tonight from TVXQ immediately , this song is a legend . TVXQ is also a legend .SM made the rearrannge version of From home so good too . I kind of think that does SM did a little tribute to TVXQ in From home ? , However whatever SM intention is, I like both songs very much.

Thanks for making this video 😭😭 The DBSK ‘Tonight’ and NCT U ‘From Home’ live performance comparison has been stuck on my mind 😢 For the longest time I thought no idol group can ever match DB5K but seeing NCT U perform the rearranged version of From Home... Even the runs and techniques gives the same feels 😭😭 SM’s vocal are really no joke. Maaan how I miss having DBSK as 5, they’d be so much more popular with social media today if they were together 😢 Also, Haechan reminds me so much of Xiah Junsu. 🥰 They’re both Main Vocals who are great Dancers. They have the image of being cute offstage and charismatic onstage while always getting teased by their members.

Surely SM has some hidden recordings of their trainee's covering old TVXQ power ballads SURELY. There is NO WAY none of them attempted Bolero, Picture of You, Tonight, Love in the Ice, etc. Or even Proud! Red Velvet if you cried to it surely you tried singing it one time... Yuta would sound amazing singing Wasurenaide or Doushite or my fav Kiss Shita Mama Sayonara... can you tell how desperate I am for some of this content ahhhh I'm not evening mentioning the dance songs...
