- Jen They’re technically Jpop in this instance. They’re so well-known and beloved in Japan (also make Japanese music) that it’s not wrong to consider them a Jpop group as well.

Actually it's not wrong to call TVXQ jpop. While kpop groups promoting in Japan typically still stick to being kpop, TVXQ had a different approach and promoted as a jpop group differing from dbsk in Korea. This is the reason they even have a separate fandom in Japan called BigEast.

Yuta is inarguably one of the most well-rounded members in NCT. He's a talented dancer, damn handsome, has a perfect sense of humour and amount of wit for variety, has an amazing personality and most importantly has a very wonderful singing voice. To think I was kinda surprised that this is how his singing voice sounds like while watching this video because there has been literally 0 opportunities for him to display his vocal skills... and I'm Yuta biased. He is so under utilised in NCT despite his balanced skill set and he deserves so much more. I hope that he gets a decent amount of lines in the next comeback and more recognition because he's being wasted right now :(

It makes it even better that he's singing this in Japanese. His voice is so beautiful and it's sad that this is the first time I'm hearing it clearly without other members singing along or after him. I'm tired of sm wasting talent. (This kind of turned into an essay but a theory to why Yuta and some other "all rounders" in Kpop are actually low key underrated, especially from non fan perspective, I hope you enjoy💚) This thing happen a lot with Kpop idol, like they are well rounded but because they don't have one very specific thing that makes them "stand out" I guess, the company doesn't invest in promoting them as much if that makes sense. I was actually talking to my brother about this, like for example in his fav group Twice, there is members like Sana or Tzuyu that is pretty well rounded but they won't get that many lines or be as popular especially amongst people that aren't twice fans, or for Tzuyu especially only recognized for visuals because she doesn't have any like "main" positions and neither does Sana. There are many idols like this, I mean even in NCT we have Renjun, he's literally good at everything, I have never heard him rap or anything but usually rapper and singer are interchangeable (as in if you're a singer, you don't have to know how to rap and vice versa) but Renjun is a very talented singer and dancer, but with main dancer Jisung or main vocalists Chenle and Haechan, he doesn't get recognized as much. Those members are good at everything that they will never be given a main position and even if they do, the company will low key ignore it. They are like this because if there is a member who is extremely strong in one thing but not another, they have to have the main position. For example Jisung, I LOVE him but he isn't the strongest in vocals or rap in the group, but is OBVIOUSLY extremely talemted in dance, like he HAS to be given main dancer position, it would be wrong to take that away from him, especially since he won't really have a main position in vocal or rap. So when there is a member who is above average and equally skilled in everything, they can't get the main position due to not being better than other members at one specific thing. So like in Dream, Renjun isn't a better singer than Chenle and isn't a better dancer than Jisung, so he may have lead position but not main and that's why he is low key underrated. Also because he is neither center nor "visual" he won't have other ways to get attention from non fans if that makes sense. So same thing with Yuta, he has the ability for everything, and he I think has main dancer position unless it got changed, but SM doesn't treat him like it, so he won't get recognition for that either and since he doesn't have even lead position in anything else, he's underrated. Also 127 have 9/10 menbers so it can be a little harder to get a spotlight on everyone especially from non-fan perspective. I hope this make sense even though it was super long😂

@@mansigoyal7208 Yay I'm glad it makes sense, because I am Japanese and my English is still kind of bad😅 I always feel protective over Yuta, and every Japanese fan is like this, but sometimes I have to face the truth that kpop is an industry and SM cares to advertise NCT127 as a group more than giving a spotlight on every member separately. But a little bit more lines, center time, and screentime doesn't hurt I think, especially on their Japanese songs😅💚
