We did play a rematch afterwards. I got absolutely destroyed. Note to self: the development director is NOT a top-tier pick in multiplayer when the enemy can drop a tunnel and insurgents right on your development team! Regardless, lots of thanks for James for the match! It was a lot of fun. :)

i like how pravus is so used to striking his own civs to the point he was like "did you air strike me?" when he _l i t e r a l l y_ airstriked his own region with no threats inside of it

As a relatively new player i found out hostile population kept increasing when i kept coalition in urban zones so i try to keep them out as much as i can

(Spoiler) That was surprisingly close. I have a feeling that if James had gone for a slightly stronger commander, like maybe the banker or possibly the development director, then he probably would have won, but pravus did play extremely well. All those mega brutal strategy guides and campaigns have certainly given him a great grasp of the game. Well done Pravus, GG James.

maybe this could evolve into a proxy war theme where opponent is displayed as a rival country’s mission with “syndicate soldiers” and all-round different coloration seeing that this business of counter-sponsorship has been done in the past, this could make sense

Wow, this was a really amazing concept, and it looks like it would be a lot of fun to play! I think that having it on open voice comms would make the games more fun and more friendly - I look forward to the thought of seeing more of these!

Would be pretty cool if not for the fact you're looking at each others hand the whole time. Takes any strategy or element of surprise out of the game since you basically know all the choices you're opponent is making.

So glad to see this vid come out not just to see good devs commune with the community, but to actually excplain what the hell is going on in MP. i've seena few vids and still think "how does that work?" would be interested to see how does Co-op work aswell, somewhat like campaiogn where the more you stabilise your own region, the better assistance your bud has?

It would be cool if there was like a custom campaign or whatever like a scenario where you are the insurgents and you take care of the insurgents while trying to invade in capture the enemies region and then soon surround them and then take the HQ

This was phenomenal, and I'll say James is one helluva good sport from what we were shown! Definitely worth the watch and several replays in the future, damn this was awesome. Thanks a bunch Pravus for sharing this encounter with us all. All hail Pravus!

How exciting to see this! I was planning to make a self-made board game version of Rebel Inc. for private use where one player is trying to stabilize the region while the other is leading the insurgents. Rules haven’t been fully shaped out yet and seeing an official version where one can directly lead the insurgency is great! :) Btw, was someone else sort of triggered because Pravus had lots of drone flights ready but didn’t purchase the Combat Sensors ability?

@@cottoneyejoe8285simple: most of the map starts under insurgent control, but your reputation is increased to balance the ticking reputation loss from insurgents controlling a lot of zones.
