A Bengaluru-bound Air India aircraft returned to the national capital on Friday evening after a fire warning from its auxiliary power unit and made a safe landing at the airport.
There were around 175 people onboard the aircraft, which was operating the flight AI 807, sources said.

😂 What an Idiot! Do you know more people die evry yesr in road accidents than air travel?! Also This is Air Indis Expredd flight not Air India. And, the passengers and crew were safely evacuated! no deaths no injuries. How is this dangerous! Yehi agar car hoti toh sab jal ke rakh ho jaste! Problems created over decades of mismanagement cannot be rectified overnight. Tata is slowly but steadily tightening its grip. Surely changes are happening. Then, the standard of english of the reporter is atrocious, to say the least. Its really pathetic to see national channels employ reporters who believe that arranging some english words and talking fast make good english

Maintenance should not be neglected . Customer confidence rebuild. All staff must be genuinely courteous. Dont molly coddle unions. Management must be transparent.

Why do we hear lots of issues of Air India. Why Air Craft Engineers do not do pre-flights periodic checks. Really,we have to check all the technical records about flight records. Really, it is a MESS with management. Cabin crews, fight engineer/ technician, and ground staff. The TATA Top Management & Air India CEO should open their eyes and sort it.

@RG_aming did I say that to open the engine, there are several technical checklist charts. Issued from BBJ/Airbus technical servicing records are there, it should be checked, serviced & maintained. If required, spares should be replaced.

it is good they followed safety regulations and prevented people from dying.but they should give a snack and juice as coffee is expensive in airports. it is high time ground staff store dried food clike biscuits and juice packs to tide over emergencies. it will not be a waste as everyday one or other plane gets delayed too.
