Thanks for the input. But it would be so nice to make a complementary circuit to this which allows to protect the pump when the system is without water.

Circuit update: I made this circuit by watching this video but there were two errors coming: problem 1: motor was off during the water level and turned on when water level touched all top position(red) wire. solution : don't connect the wire on nc terminal connect it on "NO" terminal problem 2: after the modification motor gets on when water goes just below top level (red) wire. solution : I exchanged blue wire with red wire and the circuit worked fine

Guys very IMPORTANT NOTE if your 100 omh is burning or getting crazy hot then try 10K resistor. It will work

Instead of supply line, make ground line pin 1 common, interchange 2 & 6 and use pin 7 to operate relay

Good work. I will try myself. I have to use it with 5V supply only since I have a 5V USB adaptor and a 5V relay module. What will need to be changed or modified in the circuit if using such a 5V relay module? I have another question: I wish to show an LED light up for 5% level. How to do this? Also, when the level is below 5%, how can I attach another LED to glow (indicating level below 5%) so that when the water reaches 5% level sensor, this LED (below 5%) stops glowing but the 5% LED starts glowing? Can I also use the 5% LED as a flashing one and how? Hoping to hear from you soon.

It shows 6V to the left of pin 4. It should work on 9V, too -- but relay specs and battery life should be considered.

Transformerless power supply doesn't have insulation from the main's. So that can't be use in this project

For lab tests it's good but it's not practical, you can't use DC inside water, you will end up cleaning the terminals every week....you need to use AC inside the water instead

There are many protection which can be applied .Pressure switch or flow switch etc etc .

Use the same relay, 10A 250VAC. 1hp draws less than 5A at 220VAC

Да такую же схему собрать, только логику поменять на обратную: сухие контакты - реле размыкается. И два реле в последовательную цепь на одну помпу. Это если в лоб.

Leds and the rest don't take much, the relay will determine that, I would say 100mA above the relay consumption, and normally relays are between 100 -300 mA

it is not working with 0.5 or 1 H.P motor .... that's really necessary.I did it and all system burned. such demo projects only with very small DC motors.Dont make foolish to your subscribers.
