Totally agree with Neace's assessment. He does tend to be nicer to newer players, not just women. However, another thing I've noticed is that among the small sample size of women in Neace coaching videos, they seem to be more willing to learn and put into practice the stuff Neace is saying. You hear less excuses, justifications, etc. They kinda just go with it. Which probably also contributes to Neace being nicer.

When the turret is aiming at a cannon minion, you can use Malzahar voidling to get a lot of plates. If you do without a cannon minion the turret will just destroy voidlings

10:45 Tip for Malz players: if you can't dodge the E and see Akali recasting it you can Flash under your turret and R her.

The only time Neace really shits on low elo players are when they've been there for ages and have developed an ego/its not my fault attitude as a defense mechanism. The newer players less bad habits. He'll nitpick a little bit less on efficiencies because at this point he's more focused on getting them to competently pilot their champion. Just like you wouldn't nitpick a 16yo w/ a permit for not piloting their stuff as efficiently as posisble when they're still hitting curbs.

Good coaching session as usual! Seems like a good tip for newer players is to think of your flash as a means to avoid damage, rather than escape after taking dmg. Players need to have in mind what abilities will kill me rather than can I live the burst and escape after. For example 6:17. Vi is charging her Q and walking in, if you preemptively flash you avoid the CC and dmg and just walk away. Maybe Akali still takes her E in on you under tower and the follow up ult leads to a 1-0 rather than a 1-1. Similar thing happens at 10:15 and you mention it a bit. Once Akali's proto belt hits, you know you're slowed and the E follow up is coming to mark/dash onto you. Either have to flash the initial E that marks you (should try and side step since you were 100% hp), or flash the E dash follow up so that you can dodge the dmg from the rest of her kit. Note with things like akali E and Lee Sin Q you need to wait for them to land before you flash, or you just take them with you.

She doesn't have the game knowledge a Gold player has, so you just simply ignored so many obvious mistakes because, ultimately, she doesn't even know the fundamentals yet to even UNDERSTAND those bigger mistakes. But teaching her how to use her combo properly INSTANTLY helped them have a chance to win the game. She went from 3/7 to 11/11/8 at this point into the game, which is a HUGE improvement. As a bronze player that's peaked Silver 1, it makes me feel better about possibly getting coached by you because I don't feel like I'm too bad or not ready to get coached by you, if that makes sense. I KNOW I make a lot of mistakes, so the idea of having you coach me was a bit intimidating. But, as many other people say, if I just don't get nervous and just listen to what you tell me, then it shouldn't be so bad. This video has me almost booking a session with you XD Nice Neace

She did great and was willing to adjust to what Neace was coaching her on. She is not mechanically the best (gotta practice them finges!) but she seems to have a good understanding of the baseline stuff. Don't play on lock screen, use ctrl+ abilities key, and don't have a massive ego. Some of the coaching videos I have been watching lately just seems to be some hardstuck gold or silver player giving shitty excuses not to be better at the game and massive fucking ego. So Kudos to her, she did great.

Statistically, women tend to react better towards positive reinforcement than negative reinforcement. And men tend to react better towards negative reinforcement than positive reinforcement. Any physical trainer knows that if you tell a man how great a job he is doing, he tends to slack off. But if you yell at the man, he tends to work harder. The opposite is true for women because they tend to take harsh criticism more personally. They see it as an attack more than a motivation. Neace is doing a fantastic job with all his coaching. He's the pro. Trust him.

People who comment about him being nicer are the people who can’t read a fully situation. This lady just wants to game with her husband and their friends and not be a burden in a team game. The other videos you have people who are silver and want to be Diamond. They talk back to neace or make excuse after playing the game for 5+ years. There is a big difference in iron wanting to just understand the game and someone who wants certain rank and has played for years. Common sense guys. Be better humans. Has nothing to do with gender.

The funny part is when he coaches, the majority of the time its silver to gold players that have played for so long they have a ego and mentality that they are better then everyone else and with this person shes brand new so she has no ego or a false ideology that shes better then even the coach..

But honestly im scared hes not gonna be rly nice to me cuz I peaked at P2, shouldve hit diamond years ago already and I am now stuck in g2/g1. So thats what I noticed, he isnt nice to women he is just nice to new players/iron bronze players that have no ego.

Since your client has decent reflexes but poor mouse movement, I'd recommend stopwatch/Zhonyas after Rylai's and tell them to press it whenever Akali jumps them and have their mouse ready to press R on them.

As a support main that roams a lot (especially to mid), 4:05 is my worst nightmare and I hate players like this. They see you ganking but decides to CLICK BACKWARDS instead of helping, and ends up letting me die for free. Worst thing is, the only damage akali took was a very low damage poke, and did not even force her to recall....

I think what I've taken from this is that I need to practice my fingers more.

It's clear as day it isn't a gender thing. Neace says clear wave, she clears. He says push R, she does. Everyone else he yells at starts running at a champion when he says clear and levels abilities with their mouse. Imagine paying for Neace to yell at you because you're too lazy to fix simple muscle memory issues.

Think it depends on your level of self-assessment how "mean" Neace is, if you're just like I'm unsure where I am or how to get better I'd just like to improve or understand the game more Neace is chill, if you rock up like yeah I wanna be platinum and a content creator and I think it's mainly my team that's the issue and have a hundred excuses I think Neace is blunt and expects you to pull your weight and know your basics.

Anyone with half a brain and content comprehension can understand neace is kind to new players and players that are there to take instruction and want to learn. Neace is not kind to those with egos or those who want to argue with him the entire time.
