Nancy Rynes, a former atheist and scientist, discusses the wisdom she was given during her NDE including: our power of choice, how gratitude and compassion can transform our lives and the world, the amazing gifts that we have here in the physical plane. Subscribe and click on the 🔔 to receive new video notifications. ↓See information and resources below.↓
Nancy gives examples of how to use this wisdom to transform your life in various ways. Nancy also present exercises that others can use to transform their human life, one step at a time, whether or not they have had an NDE. After eye-opening, spiritually-transformative Near-Death Experiences (NDEs), many NDErs struggle during their return to human life. Nancy Rynes realized that her NDE gave her all of the tools needed to not only reintegrate into society but to turn her life into one she always wanted to live. (Source: 2016 IANDS Conference)

I identify with your experience. Mine was 55 years ago, I am now 82, and I have never forgotten it. I especially remember the fear of people thinking I was crazy. I did not tell very many people for over 20 years and then only in a guarded way. Instead, I went to college and became a mental health therapist so I could learn how to talk about love, peace and relationships in a professionally acceptable manner. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for the life I have. It has not always been easy. Some hard life lessons but I have never again felt fear or being alone in my journey. Thanks for sharing.

🧡 We don't know, what we don't know. We just have to let go, and go with the flow. Show up and breath. And don't believe, for belief is a lie (in a sense anyway). The word says it all. be-lie-f We believe we have free will. For the most part we do not. We are here to experience. We do not need to even think. The creation script is designed to let us think, we think. Our job is to experience it like it is real. And it is marvelous. We are NEVER in danger. We are just going to the movies. Peace. Unconditional love. For we are not responsible at this level for our lives - literally. We literally cannot be judged, for this is just a play, just a movie. This is my interpretation of reading of other's NDEs. Do with it what you will. But it makes loving easy. We are all community. We are all connected, well our scripts are anyway. Who we are, I have no idea. 🧡 Perhaps we are just love. 🧡

Thank you! So very helpful for those of us who haven't had an NDE. I wonder how many watching this are here because they're utterly crushed with grief, and only want to be reunited with a loved one, family,a friend,or a pet..who is worth more than all the money in the world to them. There's those who have recently received bad news from a doctor,or those who feel their life is just a cruel joke, one catastrophe after another. I don't know if it's any help, but I am in that same place with you. My mind is a roiling torture, and I have a hard time living with the central paradox and mystery:when I see any living being, they are radiant, magnificent, wondrous, precious beyond words - why would they be born into such a dangerous, horrific, indifferent universe? It takes great endurance to not curse the darkness but light a candle instead. Hoping life will be gentle and generous with you.

Hi Nancy , your NDE I relate to so much. In 1971 I was on a bicycle when I was hit by a city bus. My life after was very crazy. I had a massive head injury and lost who I was and pretty much my childhood. I feel I was being guided by spirits , who I was, what i should or should not be doing . A few months after my accident is when I first remember comprehending I was hit by a bus and was told my story. But I didn't feel like I belonged there and left out on my own in a world I knew nothing about. I was very naive to life here on earth and didn't understand why the world isn't perfect. I had to learn about all the dishonesty and sins of people. People not understanding the meaning of love like I was given in heaven. I loved everyone, I forgave everyone. I didn't look at what they say or do but who they are as a whole and found forgiveness. When I came back I was psychic and I spoke mostly about the universe but the words I spoke came from my mouth but at the same time I didn't feel it was me speaking and wondered were all this information was coming from. When I was hit my only memory was seeing my body in the street as I rose in such a peaceful light feeling total calmness, peace, love, grace. But I had no reconciliation of being hit at all. I also still from this day feel I live in both worlds and I'm here looking in on earth. But with all the conflicts not knowing , feeling guided who I was, I started having blackouts so went to a neurologist who put me in a psychiatric ward and pumped me with many drugs being he considered me nuts I guess . I know even know if at the time I told him about my NDE or not. I spent several years on and off so drugged up and pretty much catatonic in hospital. Finally a friend who knew me before my accident said, you don't belong here. You don't need these drugs, they are messing you up. He took me for a few weeks and had me meet a natupatic doctor who put me on tons of herbs and vitamins that detoxed the drugs from me . I started talking and was finally able to live again feeling myself. But NDE does change you. Everyone is important to me, I love everyone and very compassionate about love and giving. I live through the heart and very intuitive of people. Being I had a head injury, if I keep jumping thoughts it's normal of me. But I would really love talking with you sometime. I know when I came back I was to write a book ,but I have so much sadness, hurt, but feel of love causing it. So much is missing here of my story, And being I have a head injury, there is some damage there that I can't stay on one thought , I jump around. But my story is very important and pray I will have someone work with me in writing it. I told my story on talkzone radio. But it's short and general and missing so much. But I would like for you to search it to know part of my story. Talkzone radio with my name. It's been many years before I even knew there was a name for NDE and OBE. I pretty much had to stay silent . My story is unless you had one yourself you really can't relate and I didn't want to be thrown in an institution again. That was 46 years ago.

Both my parents are dying from inoperable cancers. My mum is only 64. I’ve been an atheist for many years and I can tell you all that atheism/materialism has left me hopelessly emotionally ill equipped and vulnerable in the face of the rapidly approaching death of my loved ones. These experiences of people who have had NDEs are pretty much the only thing keeping me going right now.

I can relate, for years after I wasnt unappy but it felt often that it was such a drag being here - feeling the restriction of being in a body, everything is so dense, takes so long - you need to feed the body, clothe the body, move the body around and in the next realm you were free., liberated........you were just you. In my NDE I went whoosh up through the top of my head and I thought "Oh im me, Im thinking, im me - which is like im conscious awareness........I went down a tunnel of revolving energy and at the end saw a light that I was approaching. I was aware that it was for me it ws an ocen of indescrible light, which could be described as the energy of unconditional love, I got to a point and I knew if I tipped into that ocean I wouldnt come back (or I can dimly imagine how difficult that would have been to come back from that) so I didnt go ito it, only glimpsed it (when I say glimpsed, it was visual but its much more a feeling an experience) and then woom I was back in my body.

amazing story. I too had a NDE when i was a child and I remember being in the surgery room and being in two places at once. I could not figure this out till just this year. It has always been the clearest memory as a child like it happened yesterday.... but it did not click at what i had seen. Recently i had a surgery and did not have a NDE but was a touch and go to my life .... after the surgery I was the happiest for the first two to three months, then I kept on crying for months..... Her story is something that talks to me. I wish people would believe more, I try and talk to people as much as i could about this. Yet most of the time i get odd looks from people even family members. All i can do is take care of me and help people that want to be helped..... and have fun. enjoy life and never be afraid .... just be free! Much love to all!

This honestly brought me to tears. Everything is exactly as I felt following the shared death experience I encountered when my mother passed. I still (almost a year later) feel lost in this world. That this existence is the dream, and the spirit world I had a glimpse of is the reality. Everything feels so foreign to me here. I miss the love and peace of the other side. I'm glad I found this NDE video, as I lost my mother too, about 15 years ago; I'm sorry to hear about your loss, it's not easy to go through, even with an immoral soul. I had a dream as well, one which I don't really share with many people, of my mother many years after her passing. I found myself in what appeared to be my old home, the one which she passed in. However, it seemed to be more than a dream as I did have awareness that I was not awake, there was a silvery colored, luminous, mist obscuring what were windows looking outside to what would have been our old front yard. I walked slowly forwards, in a state of awe, and in the old kitchen, I saw my mother, healthy and focused on what looked like large, wrapped, boxes, with bows. She smiled while wrapping the packages and said, without looking towards me: "You see? That wasn't so bad, was it?" (I think). Then, I found myself awake in my bed, rejuvenated, I felt "alive" for the first time in many years. Although I have never had an NDE, I have had visitations in dreams, premonitions and some type of ESP (all people have it), I can relate with what many share. We are lucky to have had our experiences, I am very thankful. Thanks you IANDS!

I feel very connected to 99 percent of the people I have heard share there stories, it is very similar to the way I am living my life today, accept, my change started through suffering 14 years ago and wanted another way to live my life, I then started to do my own healing journey and read lots of awakening books and meditation and my whole thinking is similar of those who share there NDE experience. My process has been much longer. The information I have been getting is to be love and share it. To teach, learn, forgive and just be. My whole entire life is an automatic gratitude avalanche. I see love today because I have unlearned a lot of things I was taught, in that process is where I began to see and EXPERIENCE my true divinity..Thank you for your share, it resonates

For me, the greatest fear of death is the idea of nothingness at the end. What's the point of living and learning and laughing and crying, if it all amounts to nothing in the end? A life time of experiences just disappears? Somehow I have always known that if there is a God then there cannot be an end, ever.

Don't worry. I had a NDE when I was the target of a murder plot back in 2006. When I left my body, it was the most exhilarating thing ever. I thought how ironic is it that I'm dead, but I've never felt so alive! It was peaceful and energizing. I also felt "THIS is what everyone is afraid of???" I saw that life continues, only in a different way. The only thing that might make ppl scared is when your spirit separates from your body, there is a loss of control. There is nothing you can do to stop it. You can't move, yell, or do anything to prevent it. I tried to move, then I figured I'd just succumb and go with the flow. It made the transition easier. I'm not afraid to die anymore, as you feel amazing when you are in spirit form. I will never forget it.

If there were "nothingness" at the end of your physical life, you wouldn't know. So there's really nothing to fear. You would just simply cease to exist. Which, as we all know, isn't possible. Nothing ever just ceases to exist. It transforms.

Yeah, that's no surprise... The church is a human invention that to a large extent just acts as a cover-up/an excuse to control people, "in the name of God". So to a large extent, it's just about "power & control"; it's just using "God" as a justification to control people.

So, essentially you became an empath, in the blink of an eye, and then had to learn to suffer the sufferings of an empath...feeling far more than ordinary people in ordinary reality. Ordinary folks, do not have a clue, what those deep feelings are like. You have become, not like a pond, but like a deep, deep well, from which those surrounding you can fetch the living water, of life sustaining wisdom....So, you have become a living blessing, to those you interact with. Keep on keeping on.

Thank you, Nancy for sharing your story. I love your book. I have a connection to NDEers even though I have not had one exactly. But as a child I had a profound dream involving a being of light. I always assumed it was just an amazing dream until I became older and heard people describe having a NDE. It may have been around the time my grandfather was dying which may have opened something. The non-blinding brightness and complete feeling of love that enveloped me I remember to this day. And I remember being so sad that I woke up and couldn't go back there. I yearned to go back. It was the second dream of that kind of profound heavenly nature I had as a child. So I feel a connection in my own way. And the lessons you share are so intuitively true. It is nice to know there are other "aliens" out there. :)

I can reconcile the material and the immaterial because we just don't have the tools to measure everything there is. Giving advice to an NDE’r I think would be the same as someone giving advice to someone who has lost a loving spouse. It doesn’t work unless it comes from someone who has lived through the experience. I lost my spouse from a tragic fall a few months ago which has brought me here. I didn’t even know what a NDE was, but hearing testimonials of NDE’rs on a daily basis since my husband died has given me comfort and peace. Thank you all for sharing your story. Thanks for sharing. I know of course 2 people who have shared their stories with me. I have been visited by an angel and I have with a hypnotherapist been able to communicate with my Mom who passed when I was 10 mo. She symbolically appears with fire trucks. I also have been vivid 2 times recently by a person, I cared for before she went to heaven. When I was very young, I had nightmares of orange which may have been the fire that broke out when my Mom was in the fire that caused her death. My step Mom gave me a pic of Jesus that I put under my pillow and slept with. I have always explained to people who do not understand God, I just tell them that God is love and as you say this it. This was really good and I could really relate to a lot of things here. I say this humbly that somebody that doesn’t want to be here anymore needs to be honored and heard for those feelings I feel. We tend to feel like we must “do” something and that can be a huge burden for somebody that has left and experienced so much love. To lighten the burden I think it’s imperative that we just love the person and know that in time they will see the truth. They will see their value. There really is something to being in receiving mode for a while until you have something to give.

Yeah, that's the power of indoctrination... If they could just understand that it's about spirituality, not about "Jesus" or "Mohammad". Most (if not all) religions are wrong (but they're also right); they're all human interpretations of the spirit-world, passed down through generations (which means that they will obviously have misunderstood things here and there).

I, too, had difficult readjustment coming back; I went several times. So many researchers say that the NDErs experience things thus and so, but that hasn't been my experience at all (I've noticed those well-known researchers haven't had an NDE, either).. I wanted to come back, and was thrilled that I did, but this has often been brutal. My doc warned me about that as well; apparently he was well-versed on the subject. On the other hand, I can hear forests sing their equivalent of the Hallelujah Chorus, I have a deeper self-confidence, I communicate well with people who have already passed. But, the panic and terror can be overwhelming. I'm working on it, but it's there.

In my experience I was awake and they came to me to help me and my son... So not only you contact them in NDE. They appear when they have to do it and when you ask them to do it but not with ego, just for others. You have to be in a specific state. Don't rush to be with them as you will some day. We have to appreciate our live in here even if we do not understand as we are part of the evolution. We should work here.
