Wow thanks. This means so much. Honestly I am still in the clouds at the chance to host John Burke. When I started podcasting to share testimonies I had no idea these types of experiences would come to me In the numbers they have. I found his book on the Bible ap (youversion) after my campus pastors looked at me funny when I would ask them about these reports. His book really opened my mind and helped me see the correlation to scripture. It’s actually very exciting! The Bible does state that towards the end of days that the Holy Spirit will be poured out on the Earth and people will have dreams and visions…maybe this is part of how that translates? We definitely need to have discernment and stay grounded in the Word. I want to do all I can while I am here to point people to Jesus, but when it’s my time to go, I can hardly wait!

Yes! It’s crazy we studied Max Lucado’s book Unshakable Hope last summer and there was a statistic about how many “Christians” did not believe that Satan was an actual real being (it was a high number). I was floored. It’s so clear in the Bible. I wish I could share the testimony a man sent me of his hellish NDE but he didn’t respond when I reached out. It was super powerful. What a wake up call! I have another testimony coming next month where either a demon (or Satan) shows up and tries to sabotage a miracle that a man receives but is rebuked. So good! The 800 pound gorilla in the room is a simple question: Why do seemingly good people sometimes experience terrifying NDEs, and MAFIA-LEVEL PEOPLE GET BATHED IN UNCONDITIONAL LOVE? This has been researched and is known. Some even happen to small kids, some were 6 year olds. 3% of them reported a distressing or "hell"-like experience. How many 6 year olds is your afterlife torturing? Don't try to categorize them into "good people" and "bad people" categories, it's not true. See here: See this first: NANCY BUSH (IANDS) - "Negative experiences further complicate matters, because THEY HAVE NO DISCERNABLE RELATION TO WHAT KIND OF LIFE a person has lived. In other words, being a good person is no guarantee that you won’t get into a terrible car accident and suddenly find yourself experiencing what feels, in a very real sense, "hellish.”" As Bush has seen, “What we think people deserve has nothing to do with whether they have a glorious experience or a terrible one. Saints have reported extremely disturbing NDEs, while felons have encountered bliss. We all need to be reminded of what glory is coming in these crazy times. I did want to focus on heaven and on Jesus. I am literally in tears as I am putting this episode out today. Tears of gratitude and I just know God will use this to reach someone who is lost. I thought John did a beautiful job. I know we have work to do as believers, and I am happy to be here and serve the Lord, but oh wow am I excited to get to this beautiful place and see Jesus!!!!

@Robert God doesn’t send anyone to hell. People choose it for themselves. God is holy and did everything he could, including allowing the death of his own son, that you and your your loved one would not have to go to hell. God’s plan is that we spend our life and eternity with Him. It’s not hard. We only have to believe that Jesus died in our place and that God loves you. He does……even when you are angry and don’t want to believe it. I beg you to not make the same choice.

I agree with you about what the Bible says about Jesus being the only way to the Father and Heaven. I believe we must choose to follow Him. I also think it is the job of the Holy Spirit to truly convict people. We can do our best to lead them to Christ and His Word, but we cannot get a person there without their heart opening up to Christ.

I have backslidden greatly but with everything that is happening, i am coming back to faith, although I have never lost the belief of Jesus Christ and the Bible.

I know I had so many more questions I wanted to ask, but so much is in the book. Another question was if anyone ever claims to see God the Father…I assume if you get that far you have crossed the border and you don’t return, but if you listen to his interview with Heidi Barr (attached in links), she says she did sit in God the Father’s lap and John says he has heard these testimonies but didn’t put them in the book. I am sorry to read about your heartache. I know you have watched lots of testimonies...have you ever tried to read the Bible? God often speaks to me through His word. Yes, the world is evil, but God is very real. That doesn't mean that we live from one supernatural encounter to the next, but it is a walk and a journey where we grow and draw closer to Him as we surrender more and more. God loves you. Jesus died for you. You are created in HIS image and He has a plan. I am praying for you today. You have a living hope and His name is Jesus. Blessings!

Yes it is hard to say the exact number, since people are not as likely to report them. I don't think people have to be doing horrific things, I think they could just be so far from God and maybe they are wrapped up in themselves with pride? I don't know. I do believe we choose Jesus and I do believe the only way to heaven is through the Jesus just as it says in the Bible. I don't think it is about just being a "good person." He loves us, but he wants us to choose him back. I did have a person write to me who died and says he went to hell and admits he was living a pretty bad criminal lifestyle and that his experience changed his life completely. I tried to contact him by email to see if he would share but he didn't reply. I guess it would be hard to talk about.

@@everydaymiraclespodcast1395 I think you’re absolutely right that we don’t have to be doing criminal activities in order to qualify for hell. I have heard of so many stories of people who were dying and got healed when they were able to forgive others who had hurt them. I’m assuming that unforgiveness can be a path to the pit. Yes we are to love The Almighty and Messiah, His Son and to love others as ourselves. Sometimes that ain’t easy! Well it is not easy if we try to do it on our own. But he is happy to lead us in those directions, isn’t he? ;-)

I also notice you didn't mention that over 80% claim to see nothing. Nor did you mention that other religions "see" their own "gods". Like lord Yama and Yamatoots, Yamraj in India, and Allah and virgins in Saudi Arabia. You see, you need the FULL picture, not a biased and skewed one. And kids have claimed to have seen Nintendo characters, and one report of seeing Santa Clause, as well as seeing still living teachers. That's the FULL picture, not biased. So, what do you think?

And since you like NDEs, common logic means that when there's a contradiction, your "hell" stuff means nothing. I believed all that nonsense. I KNOW NOW THERE IS NO HELL, and God is unconditional love. Yes we are all connected and NO ONE IS MORE OR LESS THAN ANYONE ELSE. That our souls are eternal and WE ARE HERE TO EXPERIENCE LIFE. Love is what we are and will be again. I REALIZED THAT WE WERE ON EARTH AS A VACATION FROM ETERNITY AND BLISS. I have no fears. I have a knowing and I feel oneness with all things. Fear actually kills love." And what about this?....ANNA M.: "I 'popped' from my body and was met with a bright light. THIS GAVE ME UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, and explained I had to return as I had three children to raise. Without words, I was told many mysteries of the world. THERE IS NO HELL, THERE IS JUST EXPERIENCE. NO GOOD OR BAD EITHER! There is only one God! HE LOVES US ALL, NO MATTER WHAT! HE DOES NOT JUDGE. I had been taught wrong by religion!" And this....SALLY P.: "Many times since, I've wanted to return to that place of love and confirmation. I learned that every human's belief in a supreme being is real and that EVERYONE goes to heaven, paradise, whatever. Wow I love this! I haven’t read that one, but my husband keeps copies in his car to hand out to people. He agrees it is very compelling. I am interviewing Dr JP Moreland and we are discussing his book on Experiencing Miracles and it is another that will challenge the skeptic. Excellent read as well.

Thanks for the kind feedback. I was thrilled to get this interview with John Burke. Personally, I wasn't offended whatsoever by his statement in using, "gosh," but I know some may see it that way. I have an Aunt that says every explicative word starting in G (goodness, gosh, gee, golly, etc) is the Lord's name in vain and she only says, "hmmmm." I think that is taking it a bit far, but everyone has to decide what they feel is ok.

I think we touched on this a bit (how different cultures and faiths interpret these things), but I get it. We have to use discernment with these things. As I said before, these experiences aren't the Bible. The Bible has to come before everything else and I know John feels that way as he states that in his books.

People ask, 'where do you go after you die?', and my answer is very short, you go to the light. Why do you go to the light? BECAUSE THERE'S NO PLACE ELSE TO GO. One of the questions I always get is, 'is someone like Hitler in heaven?', and MY ANSWER IS, THE LIGHT IS THE ONLY PLACE TO GO. THERE IS NO OTHER PLACE TO GO. So, the question answers itself. A whole chapter in John’s Gospel is devoted to the story of how Jesus brought him back from the dead. BUT THERE'S NOT A HINT NOR A WHISPER ANYWHERE IN SCRIPTURE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TO LAZARUS' "SOUL" IN THAT FOUR-DAY INTERIM. The same thing is true of every person in Scripture who was ever brought back from the dead, beginning with the widow’s son whom Elijah raised in 1 Kings 17:17-24, and culminating with Eutychus, who was healed by Paul in Acts 20:9-12. NOT ONE BIBLICAL PERSON EVER HAD ANY RECORDED ACCOUNT OF HIS OR HER POSTMORTEM "EXPERIENCE". John 3:13 says, “NO ONE HAS ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN EXCEPT HE WHO DESCENDED FROM HEAVEN, THE SON OF MAN.” And John 1:18 says, “No one has seen God at any time.” NOR DID THE HEBREW PROPHETS EVER MENTION EVEN THE SLIGHTEST POSSIBILITY OF SUFFERING AFTER DEATH. The subjective recollections of those who claim to see heaven are wildly divergent and mutually contradictory - and seemingly informed by their preconceptions. Those who think they saw "hell" have a HUGE VARIETY OF EXPERIENCES TAILOR-MADE TO THEIR OWN RELIGIONS. These vast differences are not visions of objective reality in an actual afterlife. They are projections of the individual’s current state, generated by their fears or desires, the regrets or their hopes. The fact is that the vast majority of people do not claim to have these "visions" and experiences. It is actually a small minority who make these claims. I heard a very compelling NDE of a woman who died during an abortion procedure, Iveren Yaji. She came back with an urgency to tell people about Jesus, he is the only one who can save 💗

@@ozztam There should be thousands of aborted accounts by now not just 1. If NDE's are to be believed, I need to hear those abortion accounts to judge for myself...I watched Iveren Yaji video. I don't believe it. Her body language and delivery look like someone who memorized a story.

Good question. I know a few women who had abortions when they were young, for different reasons, and I can tell you the shame and the regret they carry (especially if they have grown in their faith) is more than one can imagine. Coming forward to share their NDE would be extremely difficult (it is already difficult for the average Joe to do that), so I would guess it is because they don't want people to know? I don't know. Maybe God has a reason for this?

But you would think that someone(mother, sibling/grandmother etc) who met their aborted baby in heaven would be on a mission to save other babies/souls. Another question is there are thousands upon thousands of missing people in the United States. No NDE out of the estimated 700 a day in the United States alone can clear up ANY of the cases? Yet people meet Jesus, Mary and Joseph but nobody has thought to ask JMJ about the neighbors kid who has been missing for 10 years? Not 1? I could go on, but you get my point. And I do believe in NDE's, well at least 75% of them.

I'll show you two short stories of two people who "made it to heaven". See if you think they were holy and saintly. See below: NOTICE THIS 4X NDE PERSON, DAN BRINKLEY: “If I didn’t go to hell, in the last four journeys, nobody's going to hell, okay,” Brinkley said. "And I was a, well, basically a jackass, and a typical southern redneck, all the things that go with that. I thought I was the toughest, most narcissistic, ego maniacal bad boy. I thought I was the center of the universe. And I won’t say I was overly materialistic. But I was materialistic. I had a legendary overhand left and a really good right upper-cut. So my fights lasted maybe three minutes. I had an easy answer to everything, and that was to hit it in the face. I could say that probably cynical, skeptical, anal retentive personality disorder, which is my basic personality, you know, and you add jackass, that you pretty well covered me. I JUST CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW IN THE WORLD, BASED ON ALL THE DOGMA THAT DESCRIBES GOING TO HELL, I HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE. About 27% of every time you hear somebody tell you about a near death experience, it’s not true. They’ve either emotionally or psychologically framed it to fit some kind of paradigm in their life, drug overdose, something that they can use that name and that term to brand their reality." He is counselling veterans, assuring them they have nothing to fear from death. NOW I ASK YOU, WHY DID THIS MAN NOT "GO TO HELL"? 4) Here's another NDE story told by the interviewer, M.R.: "In fact, one fellow that was shot in the chest three times and beat up, and in the ambulance he had an experience that was beautiful. So when I was interviewing he says - "What was I doing there?" "Does God ever make mistakes?" He was questioning the appropriateness. He had a good experience, life review, everything. Had all the good stuff. But he was wondering why he was there. Because HE HAD KILLED TWO PEOPLE in a parking lot a year or two before that. He said, this all-compassionate, all-forgiving God: “Gee, I’ve got it made the first time around.” NOW I ASK: WOULDN'T THIS MAN QUALIFY FOR "GOING TO HELL"? SO WHY DIDN'T HE?

AGAIN, "YES." These life reviews are seemingly always tempered by a kind of mercy that allows most of us to re‐experience our lives without teeth‐gnashing anguish and remorse. THERE IS NEVER ANY CONDEMNATION ‐ YOU ARE NOT JUDGED. You are in the presence of A BEING WHO LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY. You are treated with total compassion. YOU ARE ALREADY FORGIVEN. You are only asked to look at your life, and to understand. The presence within the Light helps you through it with the greatest and most tender compassion and love and, even at times, humour. I've been looking for an NDE where somebody went to heaven, and asked people "where is such-and-such?"and were told "he/she didn't make it and is in hell", but I can't find one anywhere. Strange. But I have seen several where the NDEr saw a family member, and was thrilled because they said the person was awful, and they were glad to see they made it.

The 800 pound gorilla in the room is a simple question: Why do seemingly good people sometimes experience terrifying NDEs, and MAFIA-LEVEL PEOPLE GET BATHED IN UNCONDITIONAL LOVE? This has been researched and is known. Some even happen to small kids, some were 6 year olds. 3% of them reported a distressing or "hell"-like experience. How many 6 year olds is your afterlife torturing? Don't try to categorize them into "good people" and "bad people" categories, it's not true. I told her that I was afraid that putting myself at the same level as Jesus would damn me to hell. SHE LAUGHED AND TOLD ME THERE IS NO HELL. WE ARE ALL EQUAL IN SPIRIT FORM. I believed all that nonsense. I KNOW NOW THERE IS NO HELL, and God is unconditional love. Yes we are all connected and NO ONE IS MORE OR LESS THAN ANYONE ELSE. That our souls are eternal and WE ARE HERE TO EXPERIENCE LIFE. Love is what we are and will be again. I REALIZED THAT WE WERE ON EARTH AS A VACATION FROM ETERNITY AND BLISS. I have no fears. I have a knowing and I feel oneness with all things. Fear actually kills love." And what about this?....ANNA M.: "I 'popped' from my body and was met with a bright light. THIS GAVE ME UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, and explained I had to return as I had three children to raise. Without words, I was told many mysteries of the world. THERE IS NO HELL, THERE IS JUST EXPERIENCE. NO GOOD OR BAD EITHER! There is only one God! HE LOVES US ALL, NO MATTER WHAT! HE DOES NOT JUDGE. I had been taught wrong by religion!" And this....SALLY P.: "Many times since, I've wanted to return to that place of love and confirmation. I learned that every human's belief in a supreme being is real and that EVERYONE goes to heaven, paradise, whatever. GOD'S FORGIVENESS TRULY DOES PASS ANY HUMAN UNDERSTANDING, and HELL DOES NOT EXIST. Since my NDE, I have shared with bereaved friends and strangers, and tried to confirm others' hopes of an afterlife." Here's another one for you...L. MASON: "I died. Time froze. Met God that appeared as a pure white light. Let me ask questions. Told me I had to return. EARTH IS A PLAY PEN. THERE'S NO HELL. WE ARE ALL FORGIVEN WHEN WE DIE. We all are connected when we die. In human bodies that link is very faint. That is the hole we try to fill with money/drugs/addiction." What do you think?....NICHOLAS P.: "The Light told me many things, which I choose not to talk of. I was told, 'you have chosen an experience, you wish to live, and it is far from over.' I WAS TOLD THERE IS NO HELL. I am sorry you are feeling so angry. Yes these times can feel crazy, and it’s hard to not have fear. I have days that are tough but when I limit the negativity and meditate on His promises it truly helps. I wish there was more I could do to help you. 🙏🏻

It's not like we're trying to check boxes here to get into an afterlife that we ultimately want to have. It felt very much like we are learning to bring that bliss that's a part of us at the soul level into our physical experience. I have no idea what you are talking about on this one, but I will go back and listen. I loved this interview. We are all in a process of sanctification. We all must confess and repent as we keep breathing. I am sorry if there was something confusing.

This is from the Bible. I presume you believe the Bible: Lazarus of Bethany fell ill and died, and his body lay decaying in a tomb for four days until Jesus raised him (John 11:17). A whole chapter in John’s Gospel is devoted to the story of how Jesus brought him back from the dead. BUT THERE'S NOT A HINT NOR A WHISPER ANYWHERE IN SCRIPTURE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TO LAZARUS' "SOUL" IN THAT FOUR-DAY INTERIM. The same thing is true of every person in Scripture who was ever brought back from the dead, beginning with the widow’s son whom Elijah raised in 1 Kings 17:17-24, and culminating with Eutychus, who was healed by Paul in Acts 20:9-12. NOT ONE BIBLICAL PERSON EVER HAD ANY RECORDED ACCOUNT OF HIS OR HER POSTMORTEM "EXPERIENCE". John 3:13 says, “NO ONE HAS ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN EXCEPT HE WHO DESCENDED FROM HEAVEN, THE SON OF MAN.” And John 1:18 says, “No one has seen God at any time.” NOR DID THE HEBREW PROPHETS EVER MENTION EVEN THE SLIGHTEST POSSIBILITY OF SUFFERING AFTER DEATH. The subjective recollections of those who claim to see heaven are wildly divergent and mutually contradictory - and seemingly informed by their preconceptions. Those who think they saw "hell" have a HUGE VARIETY OF EXPERIENCES TAILOR-MADE TO THEIR OWN RELIGIONS. These vast differences are not visions of objective reality in an actual afterlife. They are projections of the individual’s current state, generated by their fears or desires, the regrets or their hopes. And its pretty hard to be disqualified by present or future trespasses THAT ARE NOT EVEN BEING IMPUTED TO YOU, isn't it. No use trying to contradict it, that passage is comprehensive and clear. After the cross, IT IS FINISHED. 2 Cor. 5:19 - God was in Christ, reconciling THE WORLD to himself, NOT IMPUTING their trespasses unto them, and has committed unto us the message of reconciliation.

Yes, I was trying not to fan girl out completely, but I was over the top with excitement. He has another book coming that is going to be amazing!!! Excited to read it!

Let's hope that next book is more objective and fully rounded out, and not full of more cherry picked stories that fit his pre-existing bias. Let's see some stories that include lord Yama and Yamatoots, talking dead roosters and turtles from Thai Buddhist experiences, Yamraj from Hindu experiences, virgin Mary and purgatory from catholic experiences, and Allah and virgins. Finally, let's also see some stories from all the people who say there's no judgement and no hell, as well as a few experiences from the 80% who see nothing. Then we can really assess things.
