I miss my 71 340 demon some people said it was a wedge not really sure what a wedge engine is but it had 340 wedge on the flat black hood by the drivers side scoop I was very young and took everything to heart can you tell me about what the wedge stood for

I believe it's because the heads are wedge shaped instead of just a plain rectangular "block" shape.

From factory they were dipped in undercoat.. you dont, you acid dip and then only started filling rails since shane came.. so your cars look good, but theyre thinner metal and less protected than factory.. good logic 👍

That's the worst philosophy I've ever heard. It doesn't even remotely make sense. Experience has to come from somewhere or nobody would ever be able to get any. Makes more sense to have someone with no experience working with someone who has it and can teach them how to do it. As opposed to your way which would be a bunch of pointless trial and error as they ruin a bunch of things and waste tons of money until they stumble on the correct way.
