Having a strong and Vibrant Nebraska is great for College football. I am not from Nebraska and have never even been there but I have seen the fans. They are very nice people. Much better than we are here in Seattle. Happy for Nebraska.

He's absolutely a guy who can lead you back to the perennial blue blood you already are. Just give him time. Nebraska deserves to be in the upper echelon and Rhule is just the guy to get you there.

I think Rhule is going to do great here. As a Carolina Panthers fan, I never liked him as our HC because he never struck me as an NFL coach. He had a bad hand dealt to him too with roster and QB in the NFL. This presser showed me I was right because he just looks and sounds and moves like a college coach. The 'ra-ra' stuff just doesn't work the same in the NFL with grown men millionaires. Hope the Huskers get back to where they once were with him.

I heard Trev say in the press conference that nobody turned the job down and they really just went after Matt Rhule. Well that means you chose not to give Meyer the job. Nebraska makes moves like this and then wonder why they always fail. You fail if you literally choose not to win. Duh! I don't blame Nebraska though for the Scott Frost hire. He looked legit at the time. But every hire outside of that including this one had better options in which the onus falls on Nebraska to make better decisions.

I'm not getting excited to hire another coach we'll fire in 3 or 4 years and be in debt to. I don't give a rats behind about what anybody anywhere says about the hire, what this coach says, whatever the media says, or whoever. Until I see a freaking coach for once come in here and do what we expect a coach to do in over 25 years for crying out loud, then I'll get excited. Tired of this stuff. As soon as I see zero progress in just 2 or 3 years I'm hopping to an Alabama fan. I will no longer be a fan of a losing football team for the rest of my life. Since Osborne retired we have seen 4 coaches come and go. 2 won nine games,but one sucked at recruiting and the other one just had a loud mouth and bad temper that did him in! Reilly he was Mr Rogers , but seem to not be able to win and Scott had to many things outside football,like hobbies that made him late to practice and meetings..Too busy sniffing the pootang that was hanging all over him! loll
