Adam Blaz3r they wanted to appeal to kids or casuals i think. So they can win a few games here and there from nothing but zoning. I for one was way better at MKX than this game because 1) I mained Mileena 2) Zoning was super easy to deal with in MKX. It was higher execution, more rush-down style, no patience at all (except when fighting SZ Grandmaster) ... Where impatience in IJ2 will kill you faster than anything. Coming from MKX and never playing IJ1, I was kinda shocked at first by this game's retardedly unbalanced roster, and heavy zoning. I was Harley at first but i just got sick of climbing up mountains just to get to DeadShot or Dr Fate.. When you finally manage to knock them down and start pressuring, say hello to the world of invincible safe wake-ups that is IJ2. Like seriously WTF?? At least in MKX i had to spend a bar to armor out with Milleena, and risk that yolo ass super-negative ex ball roll. There sure as fuck wasnt no invincible frames (besides Cassie's nut punch). I can't stand the invincible wake-ups in this shit, especially considering how strong if zoners some of the characters that have them are. Like, shouldn't the strongest zoners in the game suck humongous cock up-close and have a pathetic wakeup?? Or at least a punishable-as-fuck onee? Level with us NRS.. This is why i main Super-whore, cuz I'm too lazy and impatient to keep ducking wrist shots, lasers, and that Dr Fate fuckery...

Just watched the final, Sonic did something closer to a combo there than their (theo and sonic) earlier set. Either way he did so much chip it pissed me off. Meter burn laser and grabs all game. I would have preferred any other of his mains: Red Hood, Hell boy, Captain Cold, heck even Black Adam (which he doesn't play anymore) lol. Oh and Black Canary, am I the only one who misses his Black Canary? I really enjoyed his Black Canary.

N2K there is nothing deep or complex about full screen spamming someone for the entire match. While yes I agree fighting games aren’t all about the combo it’s more so mechanics and matchups but man slamming projectiles is the cheapest way to win. That shit literally takes no skill wharsoever

I'd love to meter burn it. Also, on a max difficulty multiverse, against a scarecrow, I swear, he used his teleport and immediately afterward was able to use his down back forward 3 command grab. I spent 30+ minutes in the practice trying to simulate it with no success.
