Ngl, this is my favorite NECA KOTM figure. Mine is pretty much a near perfect figure, except for a little drip on the tail but it's barely noticeable. Love the translucent plastic and the new background in box. Lately I've been posing my figures in front of these backgrounds and they look pretty nice. Also the base 2019 got a re-release with a fixed head.

I think there should be some yellow streaks within his armor plating from his chest and down to his stomach. Am I the only one who is thinking about this?

I just got a NECA thermonuclear Godzilla but it has flaky paint on the spike and the tail, the joints are unusually tight, has a look that says, 'i broke my back', and the tail is a single piece bendywire It also came with a red version of the breath effect

@@ShinRobjira Just got through the grief of getting the tail attached, which was tougher than it should be but I think it's because of how cold it is here so it needed extra heat. Now I don't believe I have any problem with the paint, so far. When my sister comes we'll see what we can do about fixing/repainting some paint on the plates. Mine may also be a bootleg but it looks nice and, as long as the tail doesn't become a pain I'm fine with it.

Nooo, no, no, no. The paint chipping is definitely a common issue. My Burning Godzilla has a really serious issue with paint chipping.

Yeah I kinda gave up on getting another one, every copy I found at my local target had chipped paint on the dorsal plates.

Thank you for being honest about the dorsal plate paint. I don't have Target in my country, so you saved me 50+ dollars. I'll rather deposit that money in my SHMA figure savings and get their burning G.

Absolutely! It’s my job to be a honest reviewer and stuff!! I’d say wait on SHMA’s Burning Goji as well.. they have a bad habit of really shitting the bed with their paint as well!

I might spray the dorsal plates of mine with matte lacquer to protect the paint when it comes in the mail

Amazing fig..some fans complained about the lack of film accuracy but most of the burning G 2019 figs ive seen even out of Japan are not completely accurate..and that's ok for me..Even the Gigantic Burning G 95 is not fully accurate to its screen counterpart either...thumbs up for this one..im a bit late buying mine ( just picked one up at Wal-Mart) but im definitely liking it.Great review.

Don't buy another one. Exchange it. The paint coming off is an obvious defect. If they try to give you any grief, just say your kid can't play with it because you don't know what's in that paint. Adult collectors should never be afraid to play the kid card.

Something we had to do at the time to assure we weren’t effected by the COPPA situation. Plus, the box does say ages 15 and up. Specifications. Yada yada.
