I mean why whine about accuracy? This particular moment on screen is EXTREMELY difficult to replicate considering how much the effect changed from moment to moment on screen. This is a great paint job

Pretty good figure. Sadly the legs are still an issue. The 2014 one could have its thighs go inwards and so you have very limited possibility with the 2019 versions.

Very good. much better than Version 1. And Jakks Pacific not only gave the name Fire Godzilla (which is a stupid name), and the fact they spoiled us horribly, but their version sucks harder due to the fact that it looks like they smash some cheetos dust. Kinda like what SHMA did to their Poster 2014 version that they use too much Dorito dust. This guy is translucent (same goes for the SHMA version). I may get it, I dunno. It's basically one of NECA's best figures (even though the sculpt isn't accurate). Alongside with their 2019 Atomic Glow, 2014, 1954, 1962, 1964 (even though it's not accurate), NES (I don't care what anyone says), and 1992 (yes I said 1992 instead of 1994, cause the head on that figure looks like the 1992 design of Goji and has no accuracy on the 1994 design). And their Mothra 2019 looks amazing (even though the paint isn't accurate), so does the poster version aka aquatic version (which is even more accurate). The rest NECA has done are pretty bad.

Nice review! Could not have agreed with you more. So glad I was patient and walked in everyday since the announcement. Already saw sellers on eBay selling for $50-100 bidding and was close to cave in but decided this is $25. Even though it’s an exclusive no way you gonna pay more than what they sell for.

It's definitely a weird release. The promotional images looked better to me, but that might just be my memory. But it's growing on me, probably because of how weird it is in general.

Be careful with this guy, when you get him wet his paint rubs off, and his fins are super fragile when it comes to paint. I already got paint chipped off when I was getting him out of package.
