Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

If only Neca did Ghidorah the big 4 would've been completed. The reason why Neca didn't do ghidorah is because he's too big and it'll be too expensive which is a really stupid reason to not do him

Well, that might be expensive for NECA making a giant 3 headed, 2 tailed Dragon but when it's about the same size as Godzilla, it'll be cheap.

@@Godzilla-tu2cd they are seperate chatecters and the figures are cheaper and there fpr easier to profit off of. Ghidorah would cost alot more hence less people would buy it. The licence for ghidorah likely cost more because he is the focus of alot of companies.

I love these figures. My dad loved the old Godzilla movies and I grew up on them. He would have loved "King of the Monsters", I really wish he could have seen it. Side note - I should have explained this to my friends so they weren't freaked out when I started crying during the Mothra emerging from the chrysalis part (I'm crazy anyway so I'm sure they just chalked it up to that 🤣🤣🤣). Mothra & Rodan were my favorites as a kid and I pre-ordered the figures as soon as I saw them. Mothra arrived first and the paint detail blew me away. I was equally impressed by Rodan (also now I want fire fx for him!!). Rodan was a bit harder to balance on his stand (it could have also been my determination to have him posed a specific way) so I used a teeny bit of museum putty to keep him stable. I haven't opened Godzilla yet because I need to find space to set them all up together. Also was waiting for a King Ghidorah in this line but that doesn't seem to be happening. Loved the movie, love the figures, and love the review!!!

I'm very good at breaking things, luckily that has helped make me very good at repairing them! I tend to buy broken/damaged statues/figures for way less money and then repair/resculpt/repaint them. I came really close to breaking one of Mothra's wings and did somehow remove one of her tiny legs (I glued it back on).

Neca should start making mechagodzillas because the sh monsterarts price is a bit above my price range. And there needs to be a ready player one version of mechagodzilla made I could care less if it was just a classic vinyl figure for $15 I'm sure I'm not the only godzilla collector that wants that mechagodzilla on their shelf

They could made ghidorah if u ask me. They said id be too expensive but if they made it say 8 inches tall and 15 inches long id be fine. I mean the pacific rim kaijus by neca were huge and didnt cost too much at the time. Also the 24 inch godzilla was around $60. So i don't see whats the deal with ghidorah

Ok I had mixed feelings on all of these figures. 1: Godzilla looks absolutely badass with his new atomic paint job and his accessories are pretty neat. 2: Mothra is okay, it sucks it didn't come with the Mothra larva. It's articulation is a bit lacking and it looks really REALLY fragile. 3: Rodan looks absolutely incredible and his articulation is absolutely fantastic. I only have one gripe and it has to do with the head, I wish that it was one head sculpt but with a hinged jaw instead of two separate heads. Overall Rodan is badass and his accessories are pretty good.
