I don't think it lives up to the standards set by the Universal figures. I suspect it's the paint rather than the sculpt. I wonder what the figure would look like with a top to bottom custom paint job.

@FischerBrickFilms it's weird. I live in Houston surrounded by multiple Targets and Walmarts yet they never seem to have new figures. Same ones sitting on shelves for months.

Fun Fact: Nosferatu appeared in an episode of SpongeBob called Graveyard Shift. He shows up at the very end of the episode

But, on top of that, he's now a semi-recurring character on the show, appearing mostly in Halloween episodes. And in the episode 'Squidferatu', we even got a guest appearance from Lon Chaney's Phantom of the Opera!

Mine is on it's way, I will definitely be displaying him in full Nosferatu mode, if they do an accessory set, I hope they give us a coffin and as you said a desk/table of some kind

@@chojinkid hey, no not released yet, I seen a poster from neca with all there UNIVERSAL monsters releases , and one of those was a picture of a black and white nosferatu. 👍

When was it announced there would be a B&W version? Did it go on sale yet?

They never formally announced it, but they put out a checklist of the classic monsters for their 12 days of Downloads in December 2022, and on that list it showed a black and white version of Count Orlok. I'm guessing it'll go up for preorder sometime this year, but who knows when? We'll probably get more information and reveals at the next convention that NECA has a booth at.

This figure turned out incredible! Great review as always Spot, and glad you showed the comparison between this one and the Super 7. I had been thinking about grabbing the Super 7 one but NECA just does not disappoint so glad I waited lol.
