NECA makes some of the best TMNT figures and the Splinter vs. Shredder figure set is no exception. They both look as if they were taken straight from the TMNT movie. That's a testament to NECA's sculpt, details and paint application. With that aside, thanks as always Spot for the great video. I greatly appreciate the continued hard work. Keep it up!

My wife just literally called and told me she found these guys at Walmart, and picked them up for me. So I had to go hunt down this review. Time to go clear off a spot, on the shelf.

This set has nice little touches from the older set that makes it a good pick up. He looks great in his little slippers that seem to stay on his feet really well. Only thing I don't really care for is shedders paint on his face in this one.

My favorite Neca figure is the 7 inch 1989 Michael Keaton Batman figure. I have 4 of them including the NES Batman.

Could it be possible that this release of Shredder has some leftovers on his mask? I mean, some imperfections regarding his mask/mouthguard that were not present in the previous releases...

how do you heat up the joints on your figures

Hairdryer is one easy way to do it because you can direct the heat on the area you want to soften the plastic for, hope that helps

@@Sharkey_SM Yeah, now there's a Casey and an April. Also they're making a Shadow Warriors two pack with Hamato Yoshi and Oroko Saki with a little splinter rat that can attach to his face. But still no Danny or Master Tatsu.

A lot of mistakes in this review: - This is the THIRD time they released these figures, not the second. After SDCC they were released as single releases (gamestop US exclusive, and normal retail in EU). - The TCRI and the nunchaku are not exclusive of this release, but you can find them in the previously release, so the only exclusives are the melted pizza, the slippers and the extra hands for splinter - The Pizza is not stepped, it's from the movie scene when splinter got the pizza on its head: 1.bp.blogspot.com/-X-Yyqet1mtM/Xpwvdm5ionI/AAAAAAAASTk/YEKtcbat7IA35tIu4CKG8NunCRSFqN9KACPcBGAsYHg/s1600/IMG_3946.jpg

nobody said the cannister and the nunchucks were exclusives to this set alone? they are exclusives to this pickup if you already have the SDCC release as the SDCC version didnt have them. :)

@@TheReviewSpot but the nunchuck and cannister came with the gamestop exclusive splinter. That's probably that person's original point. Head pizza, extra hands and slippers are exclusive to this set. The chains and box are exclusive to the sdcc set.

My Walmart has it at Walmart! Didn't have enough money for it, so I hid it under the shelf lmao Hopefully it's still there around the weekend! Edit: Just got it! Splinters head fell off and I can't get it back on 😭😂
