I feel like Valve slept on this album. I really like it but they excluded so many great songs. I expected Sonderland to be the main menu song tbh, but it’s still great!

As an aspiring vocalist, it's inspiring to be along for Ben's journey vocally. I remember acoustic performances where he totally went for those high notes, and struggled. His voiced crack and cracked. He struggled but he never stopped trying them every single performance, no matter if it was "embarrassing" or "scary". He gradually improved with hard work, and now its to the point that he can hit those notes easily. This allows the band to have that artistic flexibility to make several types of music. Its truly so inspiring for me and any other person looking to improve their vocals.

I have so much respect for Ben for constantly seeking to improve his vocal range and for the band as a whole for creating the kind of music they want to create, even if it’s not “what’s expected” of them. They dared to try new sounds and take another artistic direction with their music and it payed off and was met with resounding support from their fans. I’m a fairly new fan (of roughly half a year) myself but I can see how far they’ve come and I can see why they get so much praise from long time fans who have seen them grow.
