First time I see one in battle and I'm not convinced XD at least it is gorgeous 😍 I just finished building mine and I'm staying to paint tomorrow. Can't wait to inspire fear into my enemy (until it actually fire)

@@lord123a They can be quite scary, they can also fail in epic fashion. It is certainly a big distraction, and surprisingly you have to accept it as a big expendable damage sponge

Rule clarification. Oath of moment still applies to a leader if you kill the attached unit if it's the same turn you put oath of moment on it.

I'm not! Space Marines are pretty weak right now, but firstborn are a level even below that! It just makes me sad to see them struggle to kill anything without insane luck.

@@grimslayer8499Woah okay, a little defensive there for some reason I can't fathom? Listen I love winters' BatReps, likely the best on KZfaq imo, I was only expressing my sadness for how horribly handicapped Firstborn armies are, which effects my enjoyment of a BatRep when I know the result before I even hit play (with Necrons being the strongest faction right now and Firstborn being very close to the bottom it's not even close to a fair fight). I'm allowed to voice my opinion, just as you did, and I don't need to "make it constructive" thanks, it's just an opinion 🤷 Ignore me if you don't like it lol.

Not ignoring it, i hear the plane loud and clear :D At least Ctans dont have a wound cap anymore. i'd rather something be hyper durable than just "Rules say you cant hurt me now"

I like the idea of Necron destroyers on the battlefield after everyone else left, waging war with spray bottles of disinfectant until every bacteria has been eliminated

Nice battle report. I imagined that gigantic seraptekh construct blasting apart marines like a in film and then the termintators jumpng on him and having it explode. Very epic!

Forgot the Wound reroll off the twin-linked lascannon razorback turn 1. Don't know if the Predator had something else it could have shot at line of sight wise but it might have made a difference.

Spoilers! Losing the monolith T1 was sooooo bad! That hurt my necron (missing) soul! I'm wondering if it was a positional error, maybe having it be right in front of all those guns without cover wasn't the best? But then, I'm not sure if there was anywhere else to put it, it does be a chunky model

I mean to be fair, Winters got very lucky in that first round - he rolled insanely hot on those damage rolls and the Necron player couldn't roll a 4+ invuln save for the life of him! I think with normal dice luck the monolith wouldn't have died T1, and the game would have been even more of a landslide victory than it already was. I guess that's what happens when you put the best army in the game up against the weakest datasheets of an already low-tier army!

Just dropping in to say I can't wait for more Horus Heresy content. I've never been a huge consumer of your battle reports until I found your HH content, and I've been a paid up member since. Such wonderfully painted armies, some of the most passionate enthusiasm for the game and great army diversity. With 10th edition feeling so unbearably boring, it's been a terrific reprieve and an inspiration to get me own Legion off the ground. Thanks for all you do!

If you choose the Canoptek Detachment, you can use the same sinergy for Tesla Immortals+Plasmancer plus you can play the Strat to give them Dev Wounds as the unit, joined by the Plasmancer gets the Cryptek keyword...

Yep but they faq'd that about a week after codex release , and now it only applies to cryptek or canoptek models instead of units so now it's largely useless 😅

at 53:15 I think since scoring and RP happen at the end of the command phase. the player whose turn it is decides the order. So you can reanimate onto an objective then score.

They took away spacd marine re-roll damage from oath but, allow some Necron units to oath a target? I thought Necrons big thing was long range shooting & reanimation? Is there anything Necrons don't get? Yes, I'm asking because it seems like they get it all.

Necrons don't get oath...not sure where you are getting that from.....some units have rerolls to wound like many other units in the game

Hi buddy, great vid as always. I have been a subscriber for 5-6 years. Unfortunately the custodes debacle was like... lifting a veil from my eyes and now... I don't really care about warhammer anymore, I guess I just fell out of love because *"the message" came before the setting.
