Mohammed has always been THE TREND setter. Mohammed is a god amongst peasants. But to say his posture defines his influence is a little ridiculous. All shredders play this way. ERic Rutan, Steve Azagthoth, Terrance Hobbs, Azeheim brothers… Dave Davidson….. get a little familiar with the culture before you go comparing. There are layers to this shit. @@knoegell Dude, just look at his face. Even though it's not too visible (I have to admit), to me this guy does not look like Minnemann or Grossman at all. But he does look like Romain Goulon. From wikipedia: "In April 2008, Necrophagist announced that Romain Goulon would be joining the band as their new drummer, replacing Minnemann, who would still be working with Suiçmez on a side project.[4] Necrophagist played in the "Pillage the Village Tour" in 2008 from August 26, 2008 to September 10, 2008 with death metal bands Dying Fetus and Beneath the Massacre. Shows in some areas also included Carcass, Suffocation, 1349, and Aborted." So, it should be Romain Goulon, right?

to answer the original question, IMO the mainstream crowd wants simple, recycled repetitive garbage music because they're scared to branch out and listen to something different...danny lilker said if the human ego finds something it doesn't like or doesn't understand, it will immediately dismiss is as talentless garbage without giving it a second thought
@DariusKhan7 жыл бұрын
A lot of these bands, including what I consider excellent and big names in my mind, really struggle financially when relying on the band alone for income. I was reading an interview a few years back - I think it may have been with Derek Roddy, but not definite, who made a similar point. A lot of these drummers run clinics etc to supplement their income. Obviously, you can't rely on music sales any more, so the money has to come from touring really. I'm friends with Jock from GBH - I know it's punk but they influenced Slayer, Metallica etc - 30 odd years of touring and a load of albums and they just about make a living. Saying that, they get to tour all over the world and do get reasonably big crowds and are doing what they love so there are no complaints there!
@DrHamza-sy4gq7 жыл бұрын
Because they didn't tour enough perhaps...you can tell by their releases. Don't listen to shit like "not popular enough", because it's not true. You can some serious coin if you're willing to struggle....
