overwatch 2 genji has slower dash, impossible to look as fast as ow1

Dash animation is also different. ow 1 second dash has no animation if you are fast, but overwatch 2 have because they 'fix' it even if players like it and its harmless

Maybe, truth is, genji needs a rework... He is only played by people who just love the character and can't let go. He is not viable in terms of meta and Damage output. His primary is very slow. Now with the nerfs, it is even more difficult to hit, even up close, where he should shine the most Devs were right, they said much of his powers are relaying on his blade. They thought about buffing him in other ways, but i guess that will come much later. If i were them... First, i would swap his primary fire for his secondary. Then Remove his now secondary for a (Sword Slash). Just like his ultimate animation but reduce the damage. "That way he has more damage when he's up close, a better option that is easy to use and a new combo (example: Shuriken->Dash->SLASH then either shuriken or melee) A work on cooldown of such ability is necessary, to be strong, not broken. I thought on a 8 second cooldown. His now new primary fire, Which is when he shoots his shurike in a spread arc. Will re-use the animation on kiriko's, making it fit Genji better, with the same fire rate and speed as hers kunais. Also his shurikens won't spread more after a certain range. So it can remain more consistant with it's burst damage. "This make for more precise shots and allows flicking to actually be a thing on Genji. How many times have you tried to kill an opponent close to you, and when you shot, the shurikens would spread so wide not touching the enemy's body, even up close. Yea let's change that." Also Revert his damage and ammo. Not anymore lol. Necros is litterly rank 1 DPS and every time they meet necros diff shadder without dmg boost and he even does it when it is a 1v3. Necros still gets 5k without a mercy and both uses pocket mercy. Shadder got top 10 last 2 seasons cuz he played torb a lot
