Fun Fact: There was a point in the VERY VERY early stages of Overwatch where Genji was strictly melee (using only Dragonblade) and could freely perch on walls. Spiderman feels a lot like that version of Genji and it's awesome to see.

He’s squishy and there are stuns in this game. Once people get used to the matchup and actually keep an eye on their back line and enemy comp I think it’ll all even out. But when they add venom and spiderman gets a synergy teammate passive/ability he’s gonna be on demon time

They really need to work in the jank of the movement and the swing, but he seems cool. It’d be cool if his swing worked like Ball’s hook, so you can decide where do you want the swing to be and have more control over how it moves.

I saw another video of spider-man where he sets his web swinging to manual instead of automatic. So he can web zip or web swing depending on where he aims.

I think for spidey they can make an option where you can deactivate auto web swing to make it so you have to aim to web swing and leave auto aim web swing for people who isnt that good, idk just an opinion

I don't think they would add something like that, it's cool and all but I can't imagine in the middle of a fight needing to aim my webs to run away you know? It would add an unnecessary disadvantage to you for having to look away of the battle

@@pepekovallinplaying on m&k would make this much more feasible, in contrast to trying and replicate the movement on a remote control. I would recommend a button input that increases your sensitivity in order to manually flick and aim where you would like to websling from. I have no idea how since I’m not a developer 🧍🏻‍♂️

You can change your settings for Spider-Man specifically to change auto swing into manual then u can choose your vantage point on where u want to swing rather than it automatically just going to the ceiling gives u so much more control

Everyone has their own opinions at the end of the day but damn when it comes to the graphics and artstyle this game is really hitting it on the head for me. It's like a fine line between an artistic comic style which fits perfect for marvel, it's fun but also teeters on still having a serious tone to it if that makes sense. Probably my favorite artstyle of recent games to come out.

go to your settings specifically for spider man and turn of auto anchor so you can actually control where you are swinging and it allows you to zip to the ground for way more mobility and speed as well as animation cancel his entire moveset to insta burst people even the flyers

Spiderman in this game seems like the perfect assassin character I've seen in any game. swoops in at super speed. does control affect and big damage and then dips to the other side of the map in 2 seconds. So Cool!!

Just a tip in the controls of spider=man there is a setting that makes it so that you swing towards your cursor instead of the closest wall that's why spider-mans swings feel a bit janky. You just need to turn it off.

the art style, animations and graphics are the best part of this game! (I'm also a visual designer so maybe a little biased). 3rd person shooters aren't really my thing but something about this game makes it so much better than any other 3rd person shooter I've played

I love that if you play Spider-Man properly, he exactly plays like how he always moves in the comic books. Very agily, never stops moving, and quick attacks, but then retreat and dodge away. No Spider-Man game portrayed his fighting style with it's strengths and weaknesses this well.
