Heidi you mentioned that you need proof of an outgoing flight when you arrive in the Philippines. Can you please let me know if your return flight can be longer than 6 months as the onwards flight used to be that it had to be under 6 months. @@brucewee8802 when you enter the Philippines depending on what country you are from but if it's USA or Canada and some others, you get I think 29 days automatic stamped in your passport you need to have an onward ticket that shows you were leaving before the end of the 29 days. But when you get here then you can just extend your visa

@HeidiCajes I can't wait I'm excited to leave America. Oh by the way they didn't apostille all my paperwork they saying some have to do by the state like marriage license. Waiting on the paperwork from federal government department of state. Just to let you know if any other expats need to know what documents get apostille at state level and federal level of government here

If you served in the military you can get an SRRV, but what about a firefighter that has worked in public service?

I don't think that applies here for an SRRV.. Mainly it's for military vets and retired military service vets

The online tourist visa renewal is just for the first time. After that you need to visit the Bureau of Immigration .Dealing with mmigration here is easy though, compared with other countries like China and Japan. Friendly staff, disorganised but then you’d expect that. 😂

Hi, thanks for commenting :) We've actually confirmed that as long as you served in the military this is acceptable, the retirement pension can be separate but as long as you have both you are qualified for SRRV Expanded Courtesy.

Hi, you are absolutely right. I actually attended an event with PRA that mentioned this but again, we need to wait for the final law/policy to be passed, that's why I said it's not final yet.
