Probably EA today gonna release a new trailer of remastered version of this game, so I decided to look on original version. Never played too much for cops in career, mostly for racers, and here is got a nice motive to do it finally.
Imo looks pretty decent for 2010.
Personally I'm not sure that is worth to remaster this game. For old fans who own this game some patch or DLC-like with $10 - 15 would be good enough and welcome. New players only? But I see they happy with modern Heat and Payback.
And overall, maybe unpopular opinion but I'd like to see remaster as work on mistakes. It's too easy remaster successful game. To remaster one of the biggest fail parts would be much more interesting, some Undercover or Rivals, to work on physics, graphics etc. But here seems like they just want to sell it second time, same as Burnout Paradise, meh.

I actually really liked Hot Pursuit. It got really intense sometimes and the sound effects of the weapons were just something else 🔥

This was such a fun game, my favorite NFS in the last 10 years. Also the sound design in this game is amazing. But the remaster probably isn't going to be anything special sadly, and i feel like the only benefit will be that PC is going to get access to the DLC.

@@Akor A few car packs and some new events with them. Nothing major though it seems. Also seems like there was couple new MP modes.

They did hell of a job with this game back in its prime. Cars had actual weight, great damage modelling and handling. I would say for the remastered version, the cars still steal the show. My only turn off is the environment. It's like they didn't tweak anything from there.

I do like the map. It's not a detailed map like Underground 2 or Carbon, but it serves its purpose very well. Driving super luxury cars 200+ MPH trough the city doesn't make sense. The chases and time trials were the most fun.

WOW! Need for speed hot pursuit is the best need for speed game I have ever played. the 2010 game made the most of it. there has been no better. thanks akor for bringing us this great gameplay!

one thing i hate about this game is when there has a focus cam every times you hit enemy, it always interupted player after the cam is done. 3:06

I got it on steam yet this shithole not includes dlc only on sony or xbox. remaster this game is a mistake better update Heat i thing it's better. In my opinion

The remaster does have the DLCs on all platforms. EA was just lazy with this remaster when it had potential.

@@pkpurpledope Yeah, they will likely never remaster '05 for the simple fact that Black Box is dead, TONS of licensing issues actually and if they were to revisit it, it would probably be a remake and not a remaster, which would cost too much time and money for EA's lazy tastes. Sorry man, but at least you have tons of mods that can make it look like a remaster. I can even post some here if you want.
