I can only imagine if the developers were given an extra year to make this game how much more better would it be then what it really is. Who knows maybe more cutscenes throughout the campaign, more vehicles from the Underground series, an extensive online multiplayer game modes such as cops vs racers, etc or even deeper car customization. All I know is that this game will forever be my favorite NFS of all time. Thanks for the upload! 🙌

I think that carbon deserves it more, that is, it is enough to compare both games and you will realize that carbon does not feel "complete", and that is true, practically only 60-70% of what was planned could be achieved due to that the game was rushed by EA's and fans while in most wanted 12-15 playable cars were eliminated, some traffic cars and rog as number 16 of the Blacklist, but it would not affect the story significantly In carbon, a large part of the map could not be specified, San Juan was going to be bigger and a district accessible from freeroam, mystery city maybe was another eliminated district, and the cayons were going to be accessible from freeroam too, which means a story much longer than the one we had, characters and crews eliminated due to it too, 10 cars eliminated, the crew system was going to be better and with greater replayability , among many other things By far carbon has the best plot of need for speed, only that it could not be used to the maximum for the time, which most wanted if I managed to do and that is why it is the best in terms of development of the plot

@@agenteg7236 Mystery City was always just scenery and a placeholder. Palmont looked the same from the very concept sans the airport next to Kempton. Having canyons and SJ in freeroam may have been planned and defibetly something more in the story like lesser crews being more important with their own lesser bosses. That would make it more similar in length to Most Wanted.

fun fact. MW Started in 2003, shortly after hp2. It was originally named "hot pursuit 3'. people thought UG1 was so popular, they ended up making a new sequel. BUT, Black box was already making ug2. so MW Was originally supposed to released in 2004. but it was 2005. then carbon was supposed to be UG3, that got canceled, (see san juan.) ,, then, It was supposed to be what UNDERCOVER is. but i dunno, then undercover was in developement since 2004, then carbon started in January 1st, 2005. once carbon started, they left in limbo not knowing what to do with it.. one of the QA Testers that worked on mw, carbon & undercover. one guy asked why UC looked so bad, he said "cuz gta iv, they nailed the open world better then we ever could." undercover was meant to be more then what we got.

@@xSpicySaltx Undercover was just unfinished piece of garbage. It wasnt in development since 2004. It was just piece of super basic concept art for "Most Wanted 2" They rushed it to development in early 2007 and it was done by lesser team while main one was finishing development on ProStreet. Main team never went to finish Undecover and focused on next projets like Skate and what would become NFS The Run. In the end Undercover was nothing more than hacked together my mess by very inexperienced B team and menagers of theirs lied in the interviews how great and major Undercover will be and that ProStreet was just a minor release/spinoff in some stupid reaction to "backlash" that PS wasnt about open world atreet racing. Truth was other way around because ProStreet was a major push and upgrade and was fully finished and Undercover didnt even copy anything that worked from it. Only good version of Undercover is PS2 one done by Exient. And if outsource studio does a better job than team B in Black Box then something was horribly wrong.

Or they just changed the model for the purpose of that video, that's probably one of the reasons the cutscene is broken. Remember that the only reason they've changed the cruisers was because of the Ford Crown Victoria licensing issues.

Очень интересны некоторые моменты. Например в 1 видео видно кучу косяков. Возможно просто наброски авторов/разработчиков, не сужу. 18:25 камера менялась резко, от мышки скорее всего. 18:40 у копа тупо нет сирены. Звук есть, а свечения от них нет.. (возможно их тогда не сделали?) 18:47 Камера залетает в Porsche xD И это только в 27 секундах. Так там в разы больше, просто пролет камеры я никак не мог пропустить) Тоже самое видно в демо ролике.. Спасибо за материал!

When i was a child, i owned a pirated copy of this game(its normal thing in iraq), that started with the E3 cutsecne, and after that its allow the player to play this race in the scene, but its will crash after that or something, very weird.

It is a cut car, but it's not an all-new one. It's a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 with the well-known Mantis bodykit on it.

Wow, glad I checked the contents of the bonus dvd out before I spent money on a black edition copy just to get access to it. Wouldn't be worth the money. This seems like it's 90% montages from the game I've already seen. I actually thought it might be like a "making of" documentary 30-60 minutes in length. Love the game, but this is a pretty lame bonus disc. Luckily, the game is great enough on its own.
