For me its the realism, i’m sure the older titles felt more alive in the world and great graphics, they clearly trying to appeal to another generation with flashy cartoony artstyle. Just feels lackluster.

If that’s what ruined the game for you instead of gameplay itself is dumb it is a creative art style the game seems fun so if that ruined your experience then that is dump on your end

I jus want u to kno all the animation is there for a purpose. When u hit a drift and the animation pops up it’s telling u to hit yo nitrous for a drift boost. Like how on Mario kart or crash team racing when u see the smoke on yo tires it’s indicating a speed boost.

Graphics are not the only thing that makes a good racing game. As someone that never played MW back when it was released with no nostalgia involved, i gotta say that game still has better driving experience compared to the newer nfs titles.

I wouldn’t say it’s better than heat tho. The things heat had are taken out of this game. This game is pretty linear compared to heat. To me it’s a downgrade from heat but it’s still a decent game. I gave it a 7-7.5/10, but heat was a 8 and it would’ve been higher if they added more to the game since it was out for 4 years before making this game

​@kingeriq Nah. If you look at heat. It's actually better in many ways. Not just handling. Progression was slowed a lot. Heat you basically do a few campaign races, but then rep has no lock. You literally can just max out very fast. It's basically a sandbox with no objective at that point. Similar to 2012. Which is a major flaw the day and night system had. Cops were non existent at day. Night, they didn't try to bust you. Just deplete your healthbar (being flawed as well). Not to mention not tactical so it's non existent. Race ai even at hard is very easy. Only high heat races stood a chance agsinst you. (With any car you drove).

@@OurLou hmm okay. Well, ive always been a huge NFS fan but I'm kinda starting to like the games less and less now. Don't really care for the direction they're going. The underground vibe, the drawn characters, the silly cartoon effects, is unbound for 10 year olds who like rap or somethin? And $70 for the game? That's not a good move or a good look.

I feel the cartoon aspects just dont fit in well at all they should just remove it all and either put voice overs in instead.

It's actually not that bad, the physics are way better than the previous ones and like any game first release is usually just to get people started, once they start adding DLC I'm sure they will add more online features. But if you're like me and prefer single player games sometimes than this is the perfect chilled out game for that.
