LOL, that's me! Thank you for uncensoring my face :) I was a gameplay + physics programmer on the Need for Speed team for 6 years. On Undercover we decided to model people on the dev team for the arrest scenes. Somehow I was chosen for the main character and 8-10 other devs were modeled in police uniforms. I still have that jacket. Glad they're just animations, Alan Jarvie didn't actually kick me in the ribs :)

That's protocol. they do that to keep him from blowing his cover and make it look like he's an actual criminal. Once he gets to the precinct, then he gets released.

That's the point of being undercover. Both sides have no idea about you besides the team designated to help you.

That's the main point. Keller would just wipe out of your crimes but still, you have to pay the damages you've caused in Tri-City Bay. They have no idea if the player is actually a cop or else the character in the game will blow his cover.
