Wondering, why do we integrate!
Just to integrate or maybe find the area under the curve! There is more to integration than people know.
Saying integration is finding area under a curve is same as saying multiplication is finding area of a rectangle. Finding area of a rectangle is an application of multiplication, similarly, finding area under a curve is an application and not the only purpose of integration.
But why do we even need to find area under a curve? What are the other purposes of integration? Check the video out to unravel the mystery.

Great Explanation Sir, I'm a CA Final Student and still understood the concept well, just came here to search for basic knowledge of Integration & Differentiation which is included in our syllabus for derivation of different formulas, but after watching your video my interest in physics has been piqued. I am a Doctor and Medical Teacher at AIIMS. I came here out of curiosity. I used to love calculus, so was checking videos of integration when I saw the thumbnail of Aalu, Tamatar, Pyaaz. Started watching this video out of curiosity and then just got stuck to it. Amazing teaching skills dear. Being a medical teacher, I can vouch it takes a lot to be loved by students!! This man is passionate about the subjects and very well understood the need. Great explainer. I remember I was in my bsc first year when I asked the lecturer about integration, its importance, about what it actually means and why should we use it. He simply asked me to not think about all these, just do the formulae and be done with the exam.

Sir, I didn't agree that video will help only the student. This video will help all engineers of India who are working-professional now. This is national level question of engineers of India. Why should we learn Integration/derivative and where it is used in real life. I passed out engineering on 2005. After 18 years of passing engineering, today I am in capacity to explain why and where we can use the Integration. Current live example is calculating exact time after launch of Chandrayan 3. Where speed is different at different stage, altitude is changing, orbit of earth/ moon with gravity consideration. This comprise of complex function "F". The complex functions (F) to calculate dx and adding those small pieces of displacement of satellite give exact time when Rover will land on moon. Amazing Thanks a ton. You are champion

Sir Sir Sir! Maine aaj tak isse behtarin video nahi dekha. Mein ek top student rah chuka hoon. Mein aapke is video ko promote karoonga. I am so proud of you. And Newton ko bhi mannna padega usne kaise yeh insights sochi aur is duniya mein calculus lekar aaya. Yeh bhi ek sochne ki baat hai ki, dx mein constant force ke assumption par calculate karke bhi, total answer accurate aata hai. I think is baat ka koi jawab ya mathematical proof nahi hai. Yeh bas ek genius ki baat hai.

Hands down the best ever lecture I came across on this topic. I have met people who wrote books for BSC level calculus but even they were not able to explain this phenomenon of Integration. I am no longer a student but still try to learn things whenever possible.

I wish I saw this video in 1980 when I took admission in Inter Science and I was told to memorize all the integration and differentiation formula without knowing anything about this. Later I completed my Engineering degree and passed engineering Maths credit having no clue what the heck this was all about. Near my retirement age today I finally knew. Thanks for making this video. You will be the next Khan Sir of Physics and Khan Academy. God bless you.

Kahan the aap bhiyyaji jab hum 11th mein tha, enginnering kari. Jaise kabir ka doha, "Pothi padh padh main mara, integration/diffentiation samajha na koi. 15 min ye aapka video dekh kar pandit hoi. ". Bahut hi badhiya, example aaloo pyaj ka, aur aapke conversational shaili, sab aisa ki ab integration ka funda kabhi na bhulega. Thank you, so much for explaining this.

Ye sawal maine apne teacher se poocha tha ki integration kyon karen. Direct add hi kyon na karen. Unhone mera mazak bana diya aur puri class hasne lagi. Phir teacher ne mujhe bulaya aur kaha ki ye log jo hans rahe hain na inko bhi kuchh nahi pata. Ye exam ke liye zaruri hai isliye padhna padega. Tab internet ka zamana nahi tha. Maine bahut pata lagane ki koshish ki ki differentiation aur i tegration kyon karte hain, lekin pata nahi laga. Students today are so much blessed. They have so much information available on internet. God bless you sir.
