This is beautiful! I have birds, squirrels, and bunnies that like to have babies in my yard even though I have dogs. I use a puppy x-pen that creates a huge space and put it around them when they end up in the grass. It gives them room to grow and keeps the dogs away.

Love this! We have robins nesting in our maples - they’re such characters. I’d like to give this a try with quail, too.

that looks so great! I feel inspired because I'm kind of like you, love to do painterly portraits of animals but don't have that painters training! but I'm not going to let that stop me!
