That is a fantastic pattern and I'm so glad that you make mistakes on camera because I feel like I'm the only one making mistakes. Thank you for sharing

Thank you for sharing this and leaving the "mistake" in. It got me thinking what the snowflake would look like with all those picots twisted. Gotta love happy little accidents. They can turn into design elements :)

Thank you for your videos. Mine was twisting as well but I have to come through the back not through the front

Lovely pattern. Its good that mistakes happen because we are likely to make them too but now we know how to not do them again. TFS BIG HUGS : )

Glad to watch you! Mistakes just show that we all are human and even good artists makes mistakes.. so, not reversing the ring will make the chain arch in the opposite direction? I'm new so I need help.

yes and also it will complicate your work when you are trying to join with picots

What brand thread are you using? The sheen and color are both really pretty.
@MariaPapia4 жыл бұрын
Lydia's cotton thread size 10

How do you get the beads on?
@MariaPapia5 жыл бұрын
I put white glue to about one inch of the end of my thread. I wait for it to dry and then I add the beads to the thread 😉 if the bead are big then you don't have to put glue on the thread

I do have a question Maybe I can get an answer from you how do I take a shuttle tatting pattern book and turn it into needle tatting
@MariaPapia5 жыл бұрын
You have to really study you shuttle piece. Count your stitches etc... Sometimes its hard to convert a pattern from a shuttle to needle. You will go through lots of tries and makes. I'm sorry if I was not a lot of help

What am I doing wrong....I just made this snowflake and mine doesn’t lay as nicely and the flowers look cramped, and twisty....I try not to pull too tightly but then it s all loopy...maybe I should give up.
@amyjames9436 жыл бұрын
Mary G stitches aren’t tight enough that’s why the loopiness
@maryg71416 жыл бұрын
Amy james Yeah...I know...but I think I pull too tightly cause it’s all twistey and just doesn’t lay nicely like Maria’s..of course she’s expert and I’m novice so maybe I just need to stick with chains..lol
