For the people who are watching this because your Spanish teacher assigned it to you: Hello, we are in Ponferrada, the city where I live. It is a small city but it is very beautiful. It is in the bierzo region. do you see that impressive monument? The Templar castle is a medieval castle ... From here, from the castle, we see the new part of the city. We are going to walk through the historic center, the old quarter of the city. We will go from here, from the castle to the Town Hall square. That is the castle wall. And here is the tourist office. In front of the tourist office is the radio museum. Now, let's go straight down this street. And this is the basilica of our lady of the oak. Ponferrada is on the Camino de Santiago route. The shell is the symbol of the pilgrims and shows us the way. That is the Clock Tower. Next to it, very close, is the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. And this is the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. There are many cafes with terraces where you can rest. But now we are going to the new part of town. Here in part nine, there are many coffee shops. This is a busy neighborhood, but it is very noisy. And finally, we got to my neighborhood. I live in an urbanization on the outskirts of the city. It is like a town, there are no tall buildings, most of the houses are low and we have views of the countryside. It is a very nice neighborhood. Go into Settings and slow down the playback speed, and pause the video frequently to give yourself time to read the Spanish subtitles and translate them into English. Did your teacher give you a list to of relevant vocab for you to refer to as you watch the video or could he/she maybe give you a set of questions so that you only have to listen out for specific information?

Uso los videos en mis clases y me van muy bien. Si el nivel es demasiado alto puedo recomendar "videoele" niveles a1 a a2. Puedes ver los videos en KZfaq en español de españa y también en español latinoamericano.
